We had my daughters 4th birthday party here - the girls were all so well behaved and made beautiful magnets - they were really looked after well - had a great time - highly recommended xx

Two ladies came to Elderfriends Group at Rose Hill Church in Chesterfield where I volunteer a week before Halloween and tought us to make pumpkin faces and cat faces out of coloured clay and it was fantastic everyone enjoyed it.

This is the third course I have done with them , I have loved everyone, it is so much fun, everyone is really friendly, I have already booked on my nexted one, I would recommend StraightCurves to everyone young and old, crafty and not, book a course and find out for yourself

This is one of the few places where one feels relaxed and comfortable whilst learning. I went in full of nerves but came out laughing and eagerly waiting to return. Thank you Karen. You're a GREAT Tutor & a fantastic lady. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our day.

My girl attended the unicorn workshop in the Easter holidays and absolutely loved it, we'd only just got out the door and she asked if she could go back! Definitely recommend x

Love this place, friendly, fun and great for the "big"creative little ones and "little" creative big ones. The Jumping Clay keeps us all busy for hours! Definitely worth visiting.

Learned a new craft, needle felting a hare. Really enjoyed myself and it even looked like a hare! Instructed step by step and advice given during the workshop. Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try a new craft/skill or just to do something with like minded people. Every body was welcomed no matter how skilled they were or weren't!

I'd tried to teach myself to crochet, from reading books and watching videos, never getting much beyond a foundation chain. Karen provided the perfect answer, a course that fitted around the rest of my life, with bucket loads of patience, encouragement (and tea) on offer. I was delighted with how quickly I was up and running. If you've ever said to yourself 'I'd love to be able to...' look no further.

I decided to treat my daughter to the Needle Felted Christmas Decoration workshop and we had a wonderful evening.

Carol is a fantastic tutor who gave clear explanations and lots of encouragement.

We could keep our equipment so we can continue at home which we will as it's a fun easy craft to do....just mind your fingers.

Thank you for a lovely evening and we will definitely book onto another course.

Had our daughters 6th birthday party at straight curves yesterday. Bracelet making, cupcake decorating and badge making. Everyone loved it and had a great time. Karen was excellent with the kids, knew just how to handle them! Would definitely recommend children’s parties there.

Had my daughters 6th birthday party here today, they all had a fantastic time! Everyone was really friendly,the crafts were great fun, had a very happy birthday girl. We'll definitely be coming back again!

Great fun for kids and a lovely cuppa for the parents. The activities are well planned and easily explained to the children...definitely recommend this if you fancy something crafty to do x

Found the basic sewing machine skills course absolutely perfect for me....made a cushion, drawstring bag and tote bag in the 3 sessions. Karen, the tutor, is very skilled and experienced. There are loads of other creative craft skills to learn,

inclusive to all abilities and ages.

Fabulous kids parties, we have been to three now (two of our own) and each one has been individual. Karen is relaxed with the children and they all have a great time. The kids bring their goodies away and the Mums/Dads don't have to tidy up! Always a bonus! We have since booked on the Beginner Sewing Machine for our eldest as she loves Straight Curves so much. Keep up the good work girls ! x
