Sad to be posting this but itŌĆÖs my parents last night as the landlord and landlady of the Strawberry Gardens Pub.. ­¤Źō
My parent turned a pub that was close to shutting down into the family run bustling busy friendly and fun place it is today! I have been so proud to call them my parents and to call the Strawb our home!
After 7 years they have decided its time to fully enjoy being parents, grandparents, an Aunty, an uncle, a brother, a sister!
... It was the best feeling of our lives having the STRAWB we have loved running this amazing pub and we have enjoyed and loved every single second of it with ŌĆśour peopleŌĆÖ - we did it our way! #TheStrawbWay #ProudMary #ShesRoyal #HappiestTable
We have all definitely cried but we are so very grateful and happy for the customers that have became friends and the friends that become family members!
From happiest table, to horse race trips, to our barge trip, to our garden parties, to live artists, to comedy night, to curry night, to quiz night, to Strawbs got voices, to disco karoake, to the best Sunday sessions, to parties, to Halloween monster bashes, to ales trails, to hypnosis and palm readings, to firework displays, to MotherŌĆÖs Day pub crawls, to Robs famous Sunday lunches I will and no doubt my sisters and parents will never ever forget those of you who joined and played a huge part in our lives the past 7 years!
Me and my sisters have adopted many pub uncles, aunties and best friends and for my parents definitely long life friendships that we will cherish for ever!
Strawberry Gardens will always have a huge special place in our hearts and thoughts!

What a great place, fantastic staff and always a great atmosphere

What a fantastic place ’┐Į lovely atmosphere, cracking landlord and great artist on Saturday. That was my first visit and I've got to say, I will be back. Bit worried about the dancing on the tables at the end but everyone knew what they were doing and I joined in - brilliant ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Well done Rob and Carol and family, you are creating a decent local pub, keep up the good work, it's worth it.

Unfortunately for a funeral we went to the wake. Fantastic staff, excellent food. Friendly wonderful staff. Gentleman who runs pub laid on food free. It was a various buffett that was intresting & diverse. I must pay a compliment of wonderful, hospitality. 5 oh yes superb recommend the atmosphere of respect, and lovely friendly pub everything you want.

This is my local, a great pub with a top atmosphere! Rob & Carol are a brill landlord and landlady always providing the best entertainment for their customers and going out their way to make a great night happen! And they care about their customers. Also you need to try the food here it is amazinggg if you want a good night out The strawberry is the place­¤¢Æ me and my fella have made lots of new friends here!

I am very proud to be a true strawb and love how my parents have worked hard to put growth back into the popularity of this pub! It is a family run pub, our front room - where we welcome and party with all our nice local people if your out to have a good friendly time then this is the place for you! A pub for people of all ages! - every night I have here is a good night from SUNDAY clubs to SATURDAY live entertainment we bring the best in vocal talent!!

Had a beef roast dinner yesterday and it was lovely service was excellent and my son hayden had chicken chips and beans with a ice cream. Friendly pub all round thank you.

Great local pub with a good atmosphere and beers the staff are always pleased to serve you and the live acts are really entertaining.

Great food at affordable prices, fantastic customer service and a positive, friendly atmosphere and you are made to feel very welcome. The owner has kicked out all the troublemakers and those who dress like Ali G which is why I feel comfortable going in now. It is in the best shape that I can remember.



Also provide some great live entertainment and fun and usually have the football on.

Been to this pub twice now and had a fantastic night both times . Great atmosphere great music and lovely down to earth people ! Landlord and landlady very welcoming and friendly just wish I lived closer then this would defo be my local ’┐Į’┐Į

Amazing pub friendly staff made me and my wife so welcome also a great atmosphere and obviously the beer was nice too. I definitely recommend this pub to anyone. Proud to call this pub my new local.
