Hen weekend in York. Used this company for the entire weekend. Fantastic service everytime. Called us to say they were leaving to collect us, called us to say they had arrived. The drivers not only loaded our cases into the boot but helped us to the car in the snow and ice (ladies in heels!.) Very chatty and generally lovely drivers, made the journey to and from The Squirrels pleasurable. Would definitely recommend and use again when I visit York again.

Had family in York for my wedding and Streamline was there for every single 6 person seater I needed with no wait time. The taxi drivers were all very friendly and were telling my family stories about York.

Your service is shocking! I booked a taxi at 23:59, spoke to a man and he told me my taxi was on its way and would be 5 minutes. After this my friend Sarah rang a taxi from the same address; so that is 2 taxis from the same address, 1 was going to pop world, the other was going to Florence house. After 15 minutes I had received no phone call or text message to say my taxi was here. Sarah then left and got in a taxi to pop world. I then started to ring to find out where my taxi was but one pulled down the street. Only for the diver to say "it's for Sarah to pop world" I tried to explain that she must have got in my taxi because she has just left. He said he had to ring the operators. I then also rang the operators and they told me I had never made a booking and wouldn't have been told 5 minutes because the wait was an hour, even though the driver had clearly seen I had made a call at 23:59 and how would the taxi for Sarah, that had been called after, be there within 15 minutes if the wait was an hour?! After another 15 minutes he eventually let me in the taxi, after the operator had insisted 3 times that I was a liar and never booked a taxi. Your system is flawed and I will NEVER use this taxi company again. Clearly some drivers allow anyone to get in regardless of the name and others are strict. God forbid anyone tries to tell the truth because you will just get told you are lying!!!!!

Very poor, booked a taxi for 7people received a call to say my taxi had arrived, nothing turned up, I then called them back to find out where my taxi was they said it had arrived however no one was at the location how could you miss a group of 7 people waiting in the exact location we had asked to be picked up from, I was told another taxi would be dispatched and received another call yet again nothing arrive after our third time and waiting over an hour our taxi finally arrived reluctantly we got in as we were desperate to just go home only to be told we hadn't booked a taxi for 7 ( I think I know how many people I needed a taxi for) after having got in the taxi it already had ยฃ3 odd on the meter and then I was charge an extra 40p for having an extra person but the taxi only took 4 of us not all 7

Then were told another was on its way for the rest of the group but by that point they had called another company so we will never know if the second taxi arrived. Very poor service wouldn't recommend

Thank you very much Streamline Taxis. I phoned you at 07:33 this morning for a taxi asap. I was informed by your automated system that my taxi had been dispatched. Thirty seven minutes later, at 08:10 I phoned again to be told by an operator that there was nothing available before 09:15. "But my taxi was dispatched at 07:33" says I. "It hasn't been dispatched" says the operator. I then set about the hour long walk to my place of work in Bishopthorpe arriving very late. This is the second time you have done the exact same thing to me. There will not be a third time as I will not phone you again and will advise others likewise.

Terrible Service. Booked a taxi through their app for it to just not turn up. Called to find out why and was told it was going to be 45 minutes. This was unacceptable as it would have made me late for work. Operator blamed me for booking at a busy time despite having received confirmation of my booking the night before!! Do not use if you want your taxi to turn up.



Have been trying to support local taxi companies but this left me having to rely on Uber instead. They turned up promptly and have an app which actually works!

Taxi driver seemed keen to take advantage of it being YSJ freshers week drove us all the way around town on our way home making the fare ยฃ2 more than normal. I even questioned him as he turned off to do the needless loop of town and he insisted that his way was quicker. Getting a ยฃ7 fare when we normally get ยฃ5 pretty much proves he was wrong and doing his best to rip us off. Not happy with the service and would appreciate someone from the company letting me know what they are going to do about this.

Phoned for minibus for 6 people, told to wait outside it would be there in a couple of minutes. 15 mins later telephoned again to say it was on its way by then 2 of the 6 started walking. MY04 minibus came eventually with the most rude and obnoxious driver. His behaviour and attitude towards 4 women was utterly disgusting. Keep away.

My friend arranged for a streamline taxi for our journey, the driver took us the long way round, and through the city centre which meant having to wait in lots of traffic, when he could have taken us via a much shorter route with much less traffic than the city centre! The end result was having to pay more for the extra distance/time and not arriving as early as we hoped. Poor service, and when I emailed my complaint it was ignored. I was hoping this issue would be resolved but it seems Streamline taxis are not interested in good customer service.

Just spoken to the rudest women- itโ€™s not my fault that they have changed shifts in the last five minutes and so it wasnโ€™t the same operator? Doesnโ€™t alter the fact we need the time changing! Rude! Donโ€™t like the job, donโ€™t do it!

Im not from York and I rang up to get a taxi, I didn't have to speak to anyone, it was booked automatically, they knew the street I was on and gave me a reference number. After 10 mins I rang and asked where my taxi was, she said they can't pick me up if they don't know where I am. I explained that it was all done automatically and I had a reference number. The operator got very funny with me. I gave her the street name I could see and asked could I book another taxi which she replied no!!! Very rude. Avoid this company!

I booked at a taxi well in advance for 4.30am, for when I finished work so wouldn't have to walk home alone. At 4.30 no sign of the taxi, I rang the office and spoke to quite a nice lad who said that they were really busy and didn't have one free, I explained I was on my own in the early hours surrounded by drunk people and he claimed the taxi would only be 5 minutes. I don't mind waiting if people are honest about the time, it took a further 15 minutes for it the apparently arrive. When the driver called asked 'where the hell I am' I stated I was outside where I booked my taxi from, he was in a completely different location and told me ' well your just going to have to walk down' after all the other issues I was ridiculously frustrated by this. So by the time I got in the taxi it was 5am!! In no other business would you expect anything to arrive half an hour later than expected therefore why do taxi company's think it's ok. So unprofessional, many issues with this company in the past. DO NOT USE!

Taxi booked ASAP at 18:58 told at leat 10 minutes 19:11 get phone call saying heโ€™s arrived wave out the window which is acknowledged come outside by 19:15 driver drove off almost an hour wait for replacement and no apology or anything said to driver. Plenty of other decent Taxiโ€™s in York avoid!!!

Do not use this company. We were presenting at a conference in York and had a taxi booked for 40 mins before our conference started. The taxi ended up being 55 minutes late. We were repeatedly told it was ten minutes away when it clearly wasn't. We specifically booked one that took card payments, only to be told when we arrived at our venue that we could not pay by card. We arrived very late for our event which made us look unprofessional and has caused us significant brand damage. Ultimately this will have cost us serious money in terms of lost sales. We will be taking this further and will never be using Streamline Taxis again

I only had a card on me to pay the taxi fare on saturday night The rather rude lady on the phone told me it would be ยฃ16 odd to pay by card for a 1 Mile trip and to top it off said there is a 10% charge to pay with my card. I said it seemed expensive so I said to the lady are you sure? Her answer was well walk home then and slammed the phone down. In the end I called 659 cabs and the man on the phone was helpful after I explained my situation needless to say I will not be using streamline again. And will also make sure our hotel does not also.

Booked a taxi for 2 people in advance but didn't get your taxi on time. We finally missed the trained to London and had to pay more than 100 pounds for new tickets. When we called to confirm the taxi before preference time, staff cut the line without calling back. This was an unacceptable manner!

Booked a taxi for 1.15am New Years night (morning) on 17th December

Phoned to check it was booked on 31st - Yes all ok name, time and location all ok

No mobile notification at 1.15am, pub was closing so went outside to wait - there was a Streamline taxi there checked but it wasn't for me and he drove off empty

Waited 10 mins no taxi couldnt get through decided they weren't coming so decided it best to walk home the 2.5 miles alone in the freezing cold and of course it chucked it down.

About 15 mins away from home I got a text to say the taxi had been sent to the pub at 1.42am half an hour late

I left 2 voicemails, my number with the operator and emailed as well and they never bothered getting back to me aher a week

When you book in advance you expect to get your taxi pretty much on time or at least a text to say the estimated eta

Would not use again for a pre book becareful if youre on your own late at night wouldn't trust them again

Booked a Taxi for 7:45 on the App and said it had been confirmed. It got to 7:45 and there was no taxi to be seen, I then rang up for a woman to inform me it was a couple of minutes away. Then I heard nothing and until 8 oโ€™clock when a lovely Taxi driver rang me and said he had only just got my booking but he was on his way from the train station and would be as quick as he could. Terrible customer service from the operators at Streamline, did not even have the decency to call me and say they would be running abit late, as now I was late for work but was not even given the option which they could of given me to chose another way to get to work. I book with Streamline all the time and it has never been this bad. Would definitely NOT recommend to anyone again.
