It's good to be back Hitchin and we have a winning line up for you to kick off our 2019 season, with THREE debuts to announce... vegan vendors Veg Heads the kings of fried chicken Chicken George 1985 and The Pie-oneers the not so typical pie & mash stall. There's also, burgers, bao's, bhaji's, BBQ, crepes, pizza, booze & beats. Full traders list below. Come & give them all a big fat Hitchin welcome π

Set slap bang in the centre of town on the landmark location of Hitchin Market Place, we'll be transforming the space to bring you a selection of sweet & savoury treats from local Street Food traders, licensed bars, live DJ's & communal seating areas (seating not guaranteed) ..... πΌ FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT πΎ
β»οΈ RECYCLING ... all traders will only be using ethical packaging, we ask that you dispose of all of your waste responsibly using the mixed recycling bins on site.
βββ WORDS OF WISDOM .... traders can sell out at any time, so we recommend you get down as early as you can to get the pick of a very good bunch. Turning up at 8.30pm with half an hour left of a St Food event was not a wise story told by a well fed & watered man βββ

Such a great concept and quality is amazing with fantastic variety in food from all nationalities. Always a good laugh and meet up with friends, real community spirit!

Just spent a great evening in Hitchin Town at the Street Food Monthly event. Great atmosphere and choice of food. I can recommend Jakes Smoke Shack, great burgers. Bring on the next one.
I just wanted to pop a note on here as a Hertford based food trader explaining what a great first event Hertford Street Food Monthly was on the 4th Aug. Great atmosphere, great customers. This event is sure to grow I'm sure & be a regular feature in Hertford.

A beautiful sunny evening for the first event in 2017. Great atmosphere, wide choice of excellent food stalls and live music. What's not to like? Hitchin rocks!
Good as always, not so busy as ppl are on hols I guess, does need to reintroduce live music though was better then.
