Stroud Squash Club is based at Fromehall Park, the home of Stroud Rugby Club - just off the A46 towards Bath.
The Squash Club was started in 1971 by the Rugby Club in order to generate an additional revenue stream and the two "Banbury" style squash courts still offer a good playing experience today.
Membership costs a mere £50 per year.
Court booking fee cost 20p with the lights costing £4 for 45 minutes.
The club runs a number of teams that play in the Gloucestershire County Squash Leagues.
There are two teams currently playing in the County Winter League. The "A" Team plays in Division One and the "B" plays in Division Two.
The club also runs a team that plays in the County Summer League.
