Welcome to my dedicated Carp page.
That time i landed my first proper carp is a time i will thank for the rest of my life. I live it, i breathe it, i feel it. When i'm not fishing i am thinking about fishing.
I have been lucky enough to fish with Adam Penning and Mark Pitchers. The advice and tactics they gave me have improved my catch rate dramatically and i will be forever thankful for the knowledge they passed on to me.
On this page you will see session video blogs, competitions and tips n tactics to hopefully help you put more fish on the bank. I am now an angling tutor. For those out there who are either looking to start carp angling or for those anglers just wishing to hone a few of there skills already.
I am always trying new ideas, new approaches, something that a carp has hopefully never seen before and had to deal with before.
Richworth Linear Complex is my favourite day ticket and i have worked my hardest to catch from all the waters i have fished there including Manor and St. Johns. I have been fortunate to have been a bait tester for a few companies and even given advice for some baits which i feel improved them tenfold and still do well today.
My current Personal Best is a 32lb 10oz Mirror from Oxlease (caught 2016) and my next best is a 29lb Common from Hardwick Smiths.
