What is amazing to me is my half-baked idea of a Podcast has nearly 500 downloads all across the world. We're on the third episode of the mini-series and will be announcing more of the long-form interviews very soon.
We have once again tackled some time-management issues as it seems to be one of the biggest problems facing musicians. The amount of work needing to be completed can be so overwhelming. In this episode we discuss how it can sometimes pay, alot!, to pay someone el...se to do it.

Microphone shoot out for an airy and fairly sibilant vocal. The Sontronics Orpheus gave the vocal so much warmth as well as beautiful clarity and detail without any of the harsh T's and S's which is going make my job a hell of a lot easier when it comes to mixing.

Sontronics? Yeah I've heard of them.
So excited about my latest additions to my mic collection. For me, the most important thing I look out for in a Studio is their war chest of microphones. If you don't capture it great at source, you're never going to get world class results when you come to mix and master your records. Doesn't matter how old your desk is!
Now my war chest is full of world class mics used by some of the biggest Producers, Artists and Studios in the industr...y.
I've already used these for vocals and acoustic guitars over the last couple of days and the results have been overwhelming.

One of the things I love most about this job is watching the artists I'm working with grow and develop. Lu'Ami is definitely one of those artists. It was almost a year ago that Madyx, Pete and I were in sunny Hollywood penning a few songs together. Fast forward to today and in the not so sunny English countryside, it's the last day of a two-week recording session putting another 6 tracks together!
It's been an intense two weeks juggling mixing and recording sessions but after today normal service resumes with a weekend of recording a brand new band I'm working with, more production sessions next week and even a day off!

So proud of my boys in Luna Blue. After releasing Tropical they sold out a headlining show and have had an amazing response. Check out this live video from the show. You can see my dorky dancing!

Proud of my boys in Gecko Club! Go check out their latest EP, produced by Moi. 3 completely different records but in their soon to be famous style. These guys are doing so well with sold out gigs, tonnes of streams and loads more live events and records to follow. Also, check out that artwork!!

What an awesome surprise to see this today! The boys in Gecko Club sent this video of their first single 'High Flyer' playing on This Morning. Phillip (The Silver Fox) Schofield and Holly Wollobooby actually know who they are now. So exciting. Well done guys!

Like a Trooper! Seriously, tuning and editing is the most tedious process of mixing a record but it's those tiny details that stack up. If you want your records to sound like they could be top 40 as opposed to local radio, it's all in the details. Be prepared to scrutinise every bit of audio on your record!!

I’ve worked with Grammy Award Winning Mixing and Mastering Engineers, Record Breaking Producers, Global Superstars and am credited on top 20 UK Chart Records. In my career so far, I’ve had experience as both a creative as well as a label executive and now consult artists on their marketing and growth as well as Produce records.
So, here’s why my artists are succeeding. I care whether my records go somewhere. If my name is stamped on it, I’m going to make sure that I work with that artist or band to get every possible opportunity for them. Whether that’s regular skype calls to fix their issues with online promotion, putting them in contact with my industry network to get their records heard or even just taking a call to fix band politics and arguments. I want every record I do to have the best possible chance of succeeding.
