Sunday 17th July 2016, 1pm - 4pm FESTIVAL OF LOVE, organised by the South Bank. A Beginners dance class ( anyone can lead or follow regardless of gender) followed by a two hour social. The Clore Ballroom, Festival Hall, South Bank, London. Description:... A same-sex (leaders and followers) beginners dance class will be taught by Heather Gladding , assisted by Mariusz Stankiewicz and Joe Howard, followed by a two hour social. Please come along and join us for a fun packed afternoon of dancing. Bring your none dancing friends along to the class, great way of introducing them to this fantastic world. Would also like as many experienced dancers in the class to help the beginners along. So looking forward to seeing you all again on the dance floor. OK ATTENTION EVERYONE Mariusz is about to start up classes again under his own name Www.mrballroom.co.uk It all kicks off again next week so get booking your place so as not to be disappointed, there is a Traditional class and an LGBT class. Very happy.......:):):):):)

NEWS ABOUT STUDIO
Following on from our announcement on 1st August this year we have had the venue on the market. After many interested parties an Argentine Tango Academy is planning to take over the venue in early January.
Unfortunately they can not accommodate Ballroom classes/lessons in their schedule. Therefore Mariusz is investigating other alternatives for his lessons and classes and will be communicating with you all once he has found somewhere.Thus, confirming that, ...unfortunately, there will be no further workshops at Studio LaDanza after December.
We would like to thank all the teachers/students/administrative staff, who have supported Studio LaDanza over the years and made it such a wonderful place for us to work.
Maybe we will see some of you in the summer at the Helsinki Eurogames.

I am pleased to invite you all to Cuban Salsa Workshop. Find the poster below with details and do not hesitate to book your place by contacting me. You are all welcome to join whether you are Female/Male Leader or Follower. We are going to change partners constantly during the workshop. You must feel comfortable dancing with partner of the same gender. Advanced booking strongly recommended with deadline on 11th November 2015.

Next Wednesday we start our lovely Waltz workshop from 7pm, join in on the fun and run up to December :)

Some very old history that I dug up today amongst lots of old paperwork. One advert from about 1985 - Chiswick venue, which was where Heather first started her own studio with Glenn Wright One advert from the early 1990's - when Glenn and I moved our studio to Exhibition Rd,Kensington The best find was an advert for the very,very beginnings of HIlda's....1993, a church hall in Hammersmith where I started the women only dance scene.

We have our CHA CHA CHA Workshop starting next Wednesday from 7pm! Join us and bring in the Autumn with a lively one!

The boys are back in town......Mariusz and Stuart, part of the original LaDanza Teaching Team, will be taking the Tuesday and Wednesday workshops for October, November and December 2015. For details of which dances, times, prices and levels please go to our website
