Colourful earthenware and translucent bone china near the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield, England. I offer easy to do pottery lessons in my studio.

I work in ceramics using earthenware and bone china. My earthenware bowls, platters, candlesticks and jugs are for domestic use and are decorated using slips, oxides, precious metals and lustres. They are cheerful and bright coloured - flora and fauna are the main motifs.
Bone China is delightful but fragile clay. However, when handled with care, the finished product is translucent and noble. I make delicate tealight holders in bone china and sometimes decorate them with gold, platinum or highly coloured glass which fuses into the body of clay when fired.
I undertake commissions and can personalise any of my ceramics by writing in gold or platinum; this makes any present quite special.
