The green will be open, and helpers on hand to get newcomers of all ages bowling. No previous experience needed. Have a look around our facilities and try your hand at bowling.

Welcome to the 2018 Bowling season. We get underway today with our first match between club members playing for either the President's or Captain's team. If you want to try bowling join us on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00pm or Thursday evenings from 6:00pm. One of our Club Helpers will be on hand to get you started. Or come along on our Open Day on Sunday 6th May. Hope to see soon!

Many thanks to all those that supported our Tesco Bags of Help efforts. We came second of the three good causes available. So your tokens helped raise £2000 towards club funds. This money will be used to ensure we can offer our green and bowls equipment to a wider group of people. Thank you all.

Just to let you know we are changing our name! If you wondered where Entaco Bowls Club was hiding, wonder no longer...we are now STUDLEY ENTACO Bowls Club and yes we are in Studley, Warwickshire! So no more excuses.. come along to Studley and follow the signs for Entaco Bowls Club, situated within the grounds of the Studley Sports and Social Club,opposite the village hall. What's that? What does ENTACO mean? It comes from the time (1949) when the club was first put in place by the English Needle & TAckle COmpany, based in Studley.

Members -Don't forget it is our Annual Presentation Evening this coming Saturday, 14th October, at the clubhouse. As well as handing out the competition prizes George has organised some silly games to play and a Ploughman's supper. Plenty of drink in the bar also! We may be closed until April 2018 but there is plenty going on behind the scenes. Slabs to re-mortar, equipment shed to finish painting and a general clean up. Entaco team players who took part in winning the 2017 Interberga league trophy. Apologies -One of our Player's is Missing! Now we've found him! Mike Osborne was another member of our winning team. Anyone else that has slipped our 7 second memories!

They thinks it's all over....it is now! Entaco players enjoy their end of season social match in glorious sunshine. Only interrupted by a cuppa at half time and buffet with lots of cake afterwards. Join us next year!

Managed to complete our Finals Day without the interruption of rain! Congratulations to all Players, Umpire, Markers, and Helpers.

This coming Sunday, Sept 10th, is Entaco's Club Finals Day. Why not come along and support us. Matches start at 10am and 2pm.

Our Interberga league Captain receives the Champions Trophy for 2017.

The season is beginning to draw to a close so a quick update on our efforts in the Leagues. We have managed to stay in Division One of the Redditch Triples League with a fine fifth position, not many points off second. If only we hadn't lost both home and away to the bottom team! In the Interberga League we sit top, by just 2 points, with only one match left. It's a must win match next Tuesday at Droitwich. Wish us luck!

Tomorrow, Friday 19th May is the first time we shall have a group of junior school children come and try our green. We are hoping the weather is kind and they can really enjoy their first taste of lawn green bowling. If there is enough interest we will start a Saturday Club. If your kids are interested just give us a call and they can also try their hand.
