Bittersweet feelings here at STYX HQ as we are fast approaching NYE and our final ever event – however the event in question is undoubtedly going to be one of the wildest we've ever hosted... enter Love Come Down!
Disco & house records from 10pm –> whenever. 👉 http://bit.ly/LCDNYE2018

"This is the last ever party at Tottenham nightspot Styx (sob). But there's no denying the place is going out in style – with eight hours of disco and disco-influenced house, old school podiums and even a hidden Cuban bar. Frankly, just reading the event description is making us feel mighty real." – thanks, Time Out London.

OK people, it's time to talk about NYE. Sad as we are to say goodbye to our amazing venue, we're seeing it off in style thanks to Love Come Down. They play disco: no names, no gimmicks, no pressure. Just great records from 10pm-6am for what will be the last dance at STYX. Anything goes before everything goes!

After four summers Styx is closing; We’ve always known we were going to fall to the bulldozers but our time has truly now come. We will be seven days a week until 8th November and then only open for events in November and December (there are some corkers coming up) with our last event being Love Come Down 's NYE bash.
• We arrived in 2015 plonking a freight container in a car park and messing around in coffins. Word got out and people wanted to host events here. Not just any...one but the most bombastic selection of people London has to offer. People have raved in the rain, watched theatre in the sun, built pavilions, immersed themselves in installations, eaten pizza by the tonne, adopted kittens and generally just celebrated Tottenham and London.
• Thanks to: the twenty volunteers that smashed palettes down, the staff that have turned water into wine, our neighbours who have put up with bottles of super malt and masaratis and flourished into a creative quadrant in their own right. The promoters and producers who have brought people here to dance, cry, laugh and everything in between. Tottenham Hale will continue to flourish without us, and the tower blocks will come, and the area will change. We hope to watch be part of it’s future and continue to offer somewhere for people to have a good time, but perhaps we won’t. It’s important that the future of Tottenham Hale includes culture, music, and dancing.
• Our last event will be NYE. Stay tuned for info on next space(/s).

Did someone say HALLOWEEEEEEN

User

Went there for Rise on Sunday great vibes music on point my only issue was the toilets where not clean and very hot which made them very smelly! Bar staff where good - could do with some AC

User

This best place, much fun good times I had. I am the real personage. Not this paid commenting. Why are you think it fake? Because the typing has strange? You are a silly. You should be go here, it make you much appeal to people as sexy. You want being sexy! Also the toilets have proper soap dispensers which is really nice.

Shabby but lovely venue, where great local world bands that have played there include Farafi, the odd beats, John Langan, don Kipper, Balothizer and Gypsidelica. The outdoor area has bags of character, now serving good Caribbean food. It's nice to socialise outsidebefore the music starts.

I managed to haggle the door guy last night to let me and my boyfriend in for a discount price all staff were either hilarious or just lovely. The stone oven is incredible, a margarita for £5 the equivalent of Pizza Express or Ask which are double the price and taste just as good if not better. The live music last night was great. We sat on the balcony bit up the stairs and had a magical view of the whole bar below. The decor is brilliant. The only let down is the price of a beer is £5 and house red £5. However, last night we tried their special cocktails for £6 each, they were not watered down and tasted great and £6 is great value for a cocktail in London! We live locally and we will be back for sure.

Great, non-gentrified gem in Tottenham hale, it's a venue, and a bar and I got some food when I went last. It's sometimes messy and often loud, this is Tottenham. Enjoy.

User

Great vibes on a lazy hot day - well organised - DJs - Funk soul eclectic - Summer is here!!

User

Great set up!! Looks like a good place for a good rave up :P

User

Great place, nice team and amazing pizza

Thank you guyyyys and see you soon

User

Great atmosphere and the pizza is baked in an stone flame ovens. The live music and crowds make for relaxing venue. Highly recommended!

User

First time there. An interesting venue especially as it was a beautiful day. Loved the food and outside chilling space.

User

Came here yesterday for the warm up party. Great vibes and good music. Tho what is with the hole in the dancefloor? I looked it when I got there and said 'somebody is going to fall in that hole by the time the days done.' ... little did i know that person was to be my own brother. As he went down some poor girl ended up wearing his freshly purchased pint of IPA. Luckily he was uninjured apart from his pride. Still get 5 stars tho as it was pretty funny.

User

Amazing, quirky venue - staff are perfectly trained on how to handle disabled access needs & couldn't be more helpful!

User

Amazing arts venue in the heart of Tottenham! Cafe during the day, bar in the evening and also theatre space! This is the place to be!!

User

A little gem nestled away in tottenham and has some of the besssst drinks! Worth giving it a go. Also theres a really fit barman i fancy. He's Brad Pits twin. I think his name is Joe.

User

A disused ambulance repair unit and my favourite Tottenham hang out when I'm in that neck of the woods.

The handsome theatre company behind this bar RIFT bring a really interesting and yes, theatrical, feel to this interesting venue. I've seen some fab shows here, once they built a forest inside - and once the audience members were wheeled out in coffins on wheels... Definitely a place to keep your eye on for upcoming events.

User

Very pretty space with magical feel. Drinks too pricey though wouldn't be able to afford a night there. £5 for a very basic glass of red not good

User

Good vibes, great space, friendly security and stunning hanging baskets and miniature trees!

User

Not sure if t was the venue or the promoter but was stuck outside in a queue for an hour on Saturday even though I'd bought advance tickets. All my friends were already inside. The promoter agreed to refund us but t was a massive f*** up and really got our night off to a bad start.

User

Great space but the bar staff are massively rude and up themselves. One guy spilt my wine over me and didn't offer to replace it, another got my order wrong and sighed and rolled his eyes at me when I (very politely) pointed it out.... Guys, you've got Wilko hand soap in the toilets, this ain't the Ritz - get over yerselves
