MOTHERS DAYS COMING UP SOON
What have you thought about buying the special lady in your life?
4 BENEFITS OF SHOPPING IN CHARITY SHOPS:
1) You save money! Labels in certain shops will always be sold for much, MUCH, less in charity shops.
2) You reduce waste. Charity shops are a form of recycling - so rather than throwing away your items, you’re passing them on to someone else that may really want it!!
... 3) You reduce the demand for new clothes. Clothing industries are said to be one of the highest pollution for our world.
4) Your money helps others!!
I’m a huge fan of charity shops.. if you can’t already tell! Now, Im not saying you should only shop in charity shops! But just think of all the change we could make not only to our pockets but to the planet! 🌍 💫

WANTED: Man with a Van for Sue Ryder Halifax !!!!
We are currently restructuring how we process our deliveries of furniture and have an opportunity for a man with a van to work alongside us.
When a customer purchases an item of furniture in the store we will ask the person to call the number provided by yourself at the point of sale. You will then arrange a date, time and a price for the delivery.
... Bear in mind there are some heavy/bulky items that will need to be delivered including 3 piece suites, white goods (some of which are 6ft tall and need to be transported upright) etc.
All you need to to do is have the correct van documention (this can be discussed once an interest has been expressed), and sign the relevant Sue Ryder Forms.
Anyone interested, please call the store on 01422 330225

Hi everyone! I hope your weekend has gone well.
My names Becky and I am a new volunteer, as well as the new Facebook Fanatic administrator, at Sue Ryder whilst studying full time at University.
I had my first day two Thursday’ ago and it was brilliant – the people I work with in the Mirfield shop were more welcoming than I imagined and chatting with the local customers made me feel right at home.
... I have never volunteered at a charity shop before now, but I have always been a big fan of charity shops (I am pretty sure almost every item of clothing I own are second hand!)
I even got to dress up the mannequins in the clothes I felt fit - I hope everyone in the Mirfield area enjoyed their style!
I will say also… if you love shopping at charity shops… volunteering at Sue Ryder gets you a staff discount of 25% off the items you wish to purchase 😉
If you are interested in volunteering (I really think you should give it a go!) please contact https://www.sueryder.org/support-us/volun teer or info@sueryder.org
