#Sayyiduna #HazratHamzah #SayyidushShuhada #UncleOfProphetMuhammad All praise be to Allāh Almighty and infinite salutations upon his most Beloved Messenger ‎ﷺ The beloved uncle of the beloved Prophet ‎ﷺ Sayyidush Shuhadā Sayyidunā Ameer Hamzah ‎رضی الله عنەُ has an extremely high status from amongst the Saḥābah e Kirām. He was blessed with such a high maqām that the Beloved Prophet ‎ﷺ loved and respected him dearly. Sayyidush Shuhadā also had extreme love for the B...eloved ‎ﷺ This Love became the reason for his accepting Islām.
After accepting Islām, Sayyidunā Ameer Hamzah said the following couplet: و احمد مصطفى فينا مطاع فلا تغشوه بالقول العنيف And the Blessed of Allāh, Aḥmed Mustafā is our leader O kuffār do not attempt to prevail with your false words.
Sayyidush Shuhadā is an extremely Ba-karāmat Saḥābi. His many Karāmāt have been witnessed even after his passing away. Ḥaḍrat Fātimah Khizā’iyyah ‎رضى الله عنها states, one day I was passing through the valley of ‘Uḥud, when I reached the Blessed grave of Sayyidush Shuhadā ‎رضی الله عنەُ I said, ” Assalāmu Alaikum O Uncle of The Beloved ‎ﷺ,” I heard a reply from the Blessed Grave, “ Wa Alaikum Salām Wa Raḥmah Tullāhi Wa Barakātuhu”. (Madārij an Nubūwwah)
In the same way, Ārif Billāh Sheikh Mahmūd Kurdi writes in his book Al Bāqiyāt al Sālihāt that he made ziyārah of the Blessed grave of Sayyidunā Ameer Hamzah where he presented salām. He heard the reply to his salām from the blessed grave. He was also told that when his wife gives birth to a baby boy to name him Hamzah. Sheikh Mahmūd Kurdi says that indeed my wife gave birth to a boy and I named him Hamzah.
Even today the rays of Fuyūz o Barakāt and blessings are distributed from his Blessed Grave, and this is witnessed by the people of sight.
The fadāil and manāqib of Ḥaḍrat Sayyidush Shuhadā have been collected in a concise but exalted work of Hazrat Sayyidunā Imām Jā’far bin Ḥasan Barzanjīz. It is in the Arabic language and is named ‘Manāqib Sayyid al Shuhadā’
This book discusses the excellence and the Maqām of Sayyidush Shuhadā Hazrat Ameer Hamzah ‎رضی الله عنەُ This is the highly acclaimed and world famous work of Imām Barzanjī ‎رحمة الله عليه from which many writers have benefitted.

#Hajj2019 #PilgrimageToMakkah #TeachingsOfIslam #Islam
“They ask you concerning the new moons. Say: They are but signs to mark fixed periods of time. In the affairs of men, and for Pilgrimage.” (Al-Baqarah 2:189)
Also, He, Most High, says, “for Hajj are the months well-known. If anyone undertakes that duty therein, let there be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Hajj. And whatever good you do, be sure Allah knows it.” ... (Al-Baqarah 2:197)
Hajj is an Islamic ritual like prayer and fasting. It should be done in a specified period of time. The Hajj months are Shawwal, Dhul-Qadah, and Dhul-Hijjah.
If a person makes Ihram before Shawwal, his Hajj is incorrect according to Ibn `Abbas, Ibn `Umar, and Ash-Shafi`i. However, Abu Hanifah, Malik, and Ahmad see that the Ihram is correct but not recommended. However, Umrah has no specified time.

#LoveOfTheProphet #RespectOfTheProphet #ImamJafarSadiq
It was said that when the name of the Prophet [Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him] would be mentioned in front of Imām Ja’far al-Sādiq, he would become pale out of his love, respect and awe. This was coupled with his steadfast following of the Sunnah [life example] and emulation of his great-grandfather, the Prophet [Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him].
—Ibn Abī Jamrah, 'Ādāb al-Sāmi’ wa al-Mutakallim.

#FootstepsOfTheRighteous #ImamAhmadBinHanble #Poetry
The Poem that made the Imam of Ahlus-Sunnah, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (rahimahullah).
Read these words: ... If my Lord asks me, “Have you shyness in disobeying me?
You conceal your sins from my creation – and with sins you come to me.”
So how will I answer? O woe to me – and who shall protect me?
I keep averting my soul with thoughts of hope – from time to time.
And I forget what is to come after death – and what is to come after I am shrouded.
As if I am guaranteed life (eternally) – and that death will not come to me.
And when the severe stupor of death overtakes me – who will protect me?
I looked at the faces; is there not from amongst them who will ransom me?
I will be asked regarding what I have prepared in my life to save me (on the Day of Judgement).
Then how will I answer – after I have neglected my religion.
Woe to me! Did I not hear the Speech of Allāh inviting me?
Did I not hear what came in (the chapters of) Qāf and Yā-Sīn?
Did I not hear about the Day of Gathering, the Day of Assemble and the Day of Judgement?
Did I not hear the crier of death inviting me, calling me?
So O my Lord, a slave (turning to you) I have repented – so who then shall shelter me?
Except a Lord extensive in forgiveness – to the truth He will guide me.
I have come to you (in repentance) – so have mercy on me, and make heavy my scales (with good deeds).
And lighten my account – You are the best of who will bring me to account. Credit #JamiaAlNur

#ImamAbulHasanShadhli #FootstepsOfTheRighteous #Sufism
Great spiritual master of Tareeqah Shadhlia Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Shadhil Radhi Allahu Anhu. He was born in a royal family of a business man in Bani Yafrah among the Berber Ghomorah tribe, near Ceuta in the north of Morroco. He was a Maliki who wandered far afield in search of knowledge. Immensely learned, even as a young man, he was famous for his ability to engage in legal argumentation with the religions scholars of h...is day. As a young man, Imam Abul Hasan was hesitating between living the life of an ascetic in the wilderness in order to give himself up totally to worship and invocation, or to return to the towns and settlements to be in the company of the scholars and the righteous. He studied in Fes and moved to Alexandria in 1244. In Iraq he met the Sufi master Imam al-Wasiti, who advised him that he could find his Spiritual Master (Sheikh) in the country Imam Abul Hasan had travelled from: Maula Abd as-Salan ibm Mashish, the great Moroccan spiritual master. Under his guidance, Imam Abul Hasan attained enlightenment and proceeded to spread his knowledge across North Africa, especially in Tunisia and Egypt, where he is buried. He founded his first Zawiya in Tunis in 1227. He died in 1258 in Humaithra, Egypt, while he was on his way to the pilgrimage in Mecca. Humaithara is between Marsa Alam and Aswan in Egypt and his shrine there is highly venerated. When he heard of a saintly man teaching Islamic sciences in the Al-Qarawiyyin university of Fez he hastened to meet him and his life changed.

#SixFastsOfShawwal #FootstepsOfTheRighteous #Islam #Hadith
Six Fasts of Shawwāl Almighty Allah ﷻ said: "Whosoever brings a good deed shall receive ten fold the like of it." [Al-'Ān'ām,16]
... The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever fasts in Ramadān and follows it with six days of Shawwāl, it will be as if he fasted for a year." [Sahīh Muslim]
"Allah ﷻ has made for each Hasanah (good deed) ten like it, so a month is like fasting for ten months, and fasting for six days completes the year." [Sunan al-Nasa'i]
"The fasts of Ramadān are like ten months and the fasts of the Six in Shawwāl are like two months, That is like fasting for a year." [Sahīh Ibn Khuzaimah]
"Whoever fasts in Ramadān and follows it with the six fasts of Shawwāl, he is pure from sin just as the day in which his mother gave birth to him." [Tabarānī]
The Hadīth that encourages the 6 fasts of Shawwāl is highly authentic and has been considered as Mutawātir (which is the highest level of authenticity) by Muhaddithūn like: ‘Allamah Sayyūtī and ‘Allamah Sayyid Muhammad ibn Ja’far Al-Kattānī (May Have mercy on them).
Based on this, the majority of the Fuqahā, including the Hanafī, Shafi`ī, and Hanbalī school, have held that it is recommended (Mustahab) to fast six days of the month of Shawwāl. [Radd al-Muhtār]
It is permitted to fast these six days separately throughout the month, or consecutively, after Eid al-Fitr. [Radd al-Muhtār] Credit Jamia Al-Nur
