We're looking forward to two outdoor screenings at National Trust Hardwick this weekend. The hall was built between 1590 and 1597 for Bess of Hardwick. When the hall was built, glass was a luxury, and the house was described as being 'more glass than walls'. You can see the initials 'ES' in 6 of the rooftop sculptures, which stands for Elizabeth Shrewsbury. --- Tonight's Greatest Showman screening is sold out, but there are a limited number of tickets still left for Dirty Dancing available for tomorrow night, available on the door only, which opens at 7pm. --- Don't forget to share your images with us if you're coming, using the hashtag #summernightsfilm for a chance to win tickets for next year!

Remember this Dirty Dancing scene in which Johnny runs his fingers sensually down Babyโ€™s arm and she laughs? Jennifer Grey was so ticklish that she was unable to compose herself during the take so Patrick Swayzeโ€™s โ€˜annoyedโ€™ reaction was totally real. ๐Ÿ˜‚
Dirty Dancing screens under the stars at National Trust Hardwick, Official Wentworth Woodhouse and as a special screening at Attingham Park NT with musical fireworks. >> https://summernightsfilm.co.uk/

Went to see Pretty Woman at Kedleston Hall at the weekend with friends and we had a lovely night watching the film in beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to go back next year!

User

Went to clumber park to watch dirty dancing was an amazing night absolutely loved it. It was a gift for my birthday the next day. First time for me n my partner And we loved it. Safe to say we will b bk next year. Only 1 recommendation wud be have more than 1 food stand for the amount of ppl there cos the queue was terribly. But great experience. Be a good idea to have a family night n also maybe a horror film night for 18 n over that wud be great in the dark watching horror.

User

We had an awesome time @summernightsfilm festival

User

It was awesome again last night :-)

Thank you :-)

It is so much more than the movie also, it's about bringing people together to enjoy the ambiance & the whole experience... we love it x

User

Fab night watching Ghost at hardwick. Being born and bread in England I am used to the rain so it didn't out us off at all xxx

User

Been going to this festival since it first started (4 or 5 years ago?), one of the first of it's kind and totally love the experience every time!!! It's become a tradition for my Mum and I to spend some quality Mum-Daughter time together. Make sure you wrap up warm and bring extra layers, blankets etc as it can get super cold. Love the relaxed vibe and the fact you can bring all your own food and drinks etc.
