Check out these great short stories, written by Southwick Neighbourhood Youth Project with writer Alan Parkinson, and read by various members of Southwick REACH community group. They're really good! If anyone wants to come forward with the £3m prize-money for a rap competition, we're all ears... 👍 https://soundcloud.com/user-722245852/… /southwick-to-seaburn

Great
Fantastic event. Great bands, great activities and a real community vibe. Can't wait for next year!
Well done the organisers of the Summer Streets Festival. The selection of bands was excellent - a wide variety of music that hopefully satisfied most people's tastes. The organisers really did the business on getting the bands to dovetail. There was only one overlap between the band on Stage two when the Cornshed Sisters appeared. Shame, as both bands were really with hearing/seeing! Great to see a variety of activities that kept the younger attendees occupied so that the more mature attendees could make use of the Wylam Stall! Well organised and entertaining, which quite a few people agreed with judging on how many stayed for long periods!
