Another amazing day in the Peaks so we headed to the Roaches to build on yesterday’s skills. Movement and footwork were the focus of the day and Steve was very impressed with his new found Belay building skills. Fantastic climbing conditions on the gritstone. Like every good day on the crags we headed for tea and ice cream at the Roaches tea rooms. #getskilled. @summitmountainskills.

Mountain Leader Assessing this week in Snowdonia. Despite the forecast it turned out to be a great day to be working the mountains. The candidates soon got into the swing of things navigating us around the hills. We even got a chance to look at using GPS devices in an emergency situation. Let’s hope tomorrow’s forecast is as kind.#blueperris.

Very sad to see these great classic climbs disappear. As sad as it is we need to avoid the area affected until the safety works are completed. Great work from the BMC.

Great conditions on Sunday scrambling on Tryfan with Dan, Jonny and Holly. We did the classic North Ridge, a fantastic grade 1 scramble which was surprisingly quiet . The rock was great, very dry and grippy, the views were fantastic. A great day out.
