Fun fun fun. Everyone is pretty much dancing round the tables come the end of the meal. Food is good enough, service is decent. Great Euro crowd.

Staff and food was great!

I am from Newport Beach, California and thought the food was great, the service was excellent and loved the music and atmosphere, the staff was very welcoming and fun, definitely coming back.

Great food and great atmosphere. Our waitress was it abit odd though; attempting to remove unfinished food, unfinished drink. But apart from that we had a great evening. Those 5 delightful prawns with the delicious sauce I shall remember!

As a regular customer of the old Sumosan in Mayfair, I am quite disappointed about what Sumosan has now become. We adore Japanese food, and Sumosan used to be our favourite Japanese restaurant in London, but now I think it's all about the after dinner entertainment. The place is nice, but too loud; the service was not great. The guy who served us was nice, but we were rushed to leave our table despite of the fact that we booked three months ago and you usually have two hours to enjoy your dinner. When we asked for the bill they actually came to the table to tell us they needed it and we had stayed three hours (What??! Make sure you check before saying something!) Anyway, back to the food, the first thing that disappointed me was the fact that the Japanese menu has been highly reduced. They don't have a great selection of mains, and the only signature dish they kept from the old menu is the Black cod! The sushi was fine but not as great as it used to be, especially the prawn tempura rolls. As regards the starters, they were nothing special. The only good thing was the dessert they kept from the old menu (the chocolate fondant). Plus, the price has gone up and the quality has gone down! What a shame!

Such a disappointment. The food quality and variety is nowhere near as good as the original Sumosan in Mayfair. No rock shrimp or salmon sashimi salads. The service is slow. The ambiance resembles a nightclub and the clientelle appear to think they're in Ibiza. Same goes for Sumosan in Dubai. You guys ruined what was handsdown a competitor to Nobu and Zuma. Never visiting again!

Saw the potential. Poorly executed. Music was shocking. Man felt like i was at a high school house party in 2010. Food was quite average but for that price? Not having it. Do not reccomend.
