We are really excited to announce our new flatbread wraps-extra fluffy, extra delicious and ever so slightly chewy! Who could ask for more in a wrap? I tested one from my new supplier and I ate the flatbread on its own it was so delicious.

Well the last 3 of my Christmas roasts were delivered last night, and in a wonderful act of solidarity between vegan businesses, which is how it should be, I did 'swapsies' with Karma Kitchen Café's lovely Meera Vedhara, and now have a mouth wateringly gorgeous curry and extras awaiting me. Seitan Christmas roast, wrapped around sweet potato, leek, chestnut and herb stuffing, poached in a white wine broth, and wrapped in seitan 'bacon'...this is not just any vegan roast, this is Sun of Seitan's Christmas roast...and tweaked and adapted from Gaz Oakley's No Turkey roast. 😃😃😃

Well I've made lots of lovely food today which were for Tynemouth Market but don't worry, seitan freezes perfectly. (I'd already started prepping before my catalyst of accidents yesterday) one of the dishes I was making, to dress a Christmas roast, was 'streaky bacon' -I'm waiting for it to cool down, but I can't wait to try it and show you all... who knows, it could be on the menu soon. x

Message to all you Sun seekers, I'm afraid Sun of Seitan won't be coming to Tynemouth Market this weekend due to a mishap with a foot and some wet stairs. I'll see you the week after though, so keep those tastebuds perky. x
