Kath Podmore:- We have been enjoying our 'Sun Holidays' for many years and we have been to many different camps during that time. We do of course have our favourite ones but we like to try new ones as well. My Husband & I are both retired/disabled but this doesn't stop us from having a great time and our 20+ year old Daughter comes with us too. Booking for a minimum of 4 people has never caused us any real concern and,over the years we have been able to invite various friends to join us who otherwise would not have been able to have any holiday at all. We try to have a couple of holidays each year since the cost is so reasonable - Fantastic Value For Money!!! We have recommended 'Sun Holidays' to many many people and I know they have enjoyed them too. All the caravans we have stayed in have been beautiful and very comfortable with everything you need throughout the holiday.

I used my 2 free Alton towers on Monday for my birthday then arrived Monday evening to start my 9.50 holiday only paid £40.80 on my selected dates arrived to discover they had upgraded my caravan for free......fantastic birthday week done on a budget �

Did anyone get an email bonus code for the sun savers app to allow early booking access for the holiday site? How can I get early booking access without the bonus code and I'm a previous sun holiday booker and have been saving with sun savers since a few weeks after it started?

lt's good when it works (when you buy the paper and enter the code and it doesn't tell you to try another code because it doesn't recogonise the correct code that you entered, or you have already entered the same code on a different day, really annoying!) or worse again it say's that your access is blocked, like mine was all weekend. really upsetting!!!!!

Please can someone help me!?? I’m wanting to save the tokens for Alton towers. It gives me the option to scan but I simple can’t get the app to scan the token. Is there a code somewhere in the paper I need to enter instead of trying to scan the token. It’s token number 4 I’m trying to scan.

I've been collecting the codes for legoland tickets. Yesterday I had banked 9 codes but it said I needed 1 more. I have just banked another code but the offer of 2 free tickets to legoland has disappeared?? Anyone else experiencing this? Or any advice on how to book them. Never had a problem in the past getting alton towers tickets.

Booked my tickets for chessington on the 20/2/18 paid booking fee twice did not receive tickets sent emails after emails. Told each time it will be sorted soon then today been told my tickets have been taken off the system and to book again no refund at the moment for my 2booking fees and gone bk on and the date I booked has now gone. Joke

Very very disappointed that I went on first thing in the morning to book my priority booking sun £9.50 holidays to not be able to get a date in the school holidays I have booked every year up till now we have an autistic daughter who can not accept change so can’t not take her out of school

Unfortunately Sunsavers did not work for me and my daughter and I ended up spend £100.00 to buy tickets to Alton Towers as I had already paid for a hotel room. I sent 5 mails telling them that the "link" with tickets had not been received and each time I got the same response as per below



"I am glad to hear that you wish to attend Alton Towers, through our Superdays promotion. I have taken a look into your account and I can confirm that you have successfully booked your Alton Towers tickets for the 27th of April"



However on the first occasion they say they tickets were sent the email address they used was wrong. When I pointed this out they sent it again and again nothing so we changed the mail address and still nothing. I told them to send the link with the mails that i was receiving but obviously this was either too complicated or "outside the box" for them.



Sent a complaint mail asking for refund of the cost of the papers i had to buy to get the tokens and the £1.50 admin fee and they said they would refund only the £1.50 fee but so far have not got this!!



Obviously Sunsavers works for 1000s of people but not me so will never use it again as how could I trust it..

Seems like an absolute con, was led to believe you could get two free tickets for any date between March 28 and November 2nd if you signed up to sun savers and used their app.

Not very clear until you try to book and see all Wednesdays taken in the first couple of month, all weekends taken throughout also, then every day from July 20th through to Sept 3. Just give up after that.

Don't know if it's Alton Towers or The Sun?

All I do know is someone should look into it a bit more closely. Guess I'm just gullible and thought it was 100% genuine.

Really frustrating when you can't book theme park tickets on a Sunday and there is no one in the office to help because the website won't load. Surely you expect thousands of people all wanting to book tickets. So why not open the tickets when the office is open! Perhaps it's because you don't want angry customers ringing you all day.



The Alton Tower's tickets were a joke. And now so are legoland . I won't be collecting anything ever again. Its just not worth it. I'll buy someone else's tickets!

Myself and 2 others Booked for Alton towers, didn’t check the email at the time as have had no other issues with dates etc when booking previous events, booked splash landings hotel for a small fortune went to print the tickets off along with hotel confirmation to find the wrong dates have been allocated � all 3 bookings wrong dates. All 3 emailed with 2 replies which was as useful as a chocolate teapot, I’m still waiting for mine! Tried to cancel the hotel as not spending out £75 for tickets that should have been less the £10 and going to get charged a cancellation fee. So a cheap day out has turned in to an expensive, heart ache headache event. Won’t be doing again, very disappointed with the sun and Merlin for causing this much hassle and being totally unhelpful.

I spent lots of time and my money collecting my savers codes to use for Lego land and only 4 scanned through I was so heart broken but thought if contact them for help after all it’s their coasts that aren’t working. by the time the sun got back to me the Lego land offer was over. As it was the suns codes that didn’t work and I was scanning them in the time frame I expected the sun to assist in finding a suitable solution. However I have experienced the worst customer service ever. They are refusing to even try and help resolve this. I am so discussed by their attitude towards a customer.

I sent off for Chessington tickets and requested they send them by email. Instead of tickets, I've received one email offering me 25% discount on a hotel and another offering me to apply for Thorpe Park tickets. To start with, I don't have my Chessington tickets so why on earth would I need accommodation. Also, if they'd bothered to check, I only live a few miles from Chessington. They've obviously got my vouchers and personal details, otherwise they wouldn't have my email to spam. Not using my personal data for the purpose it was given. Maybe I should contact the ICO? 😤

For the first time in twelve years and that was going away four times a year on the £9-50p and on the £15 holiday's with the sun. Each and every time it was butlins at Skegness and mother in law and daughter beside myself and misses loving it couldn't fault it. Then this year as same as always has we do got on to butlins booked it to go paid for everything as we have done in the past everything paid for entertainment passes which was all in fantastic going from normal to gold standard for the amount of times we were going then without having no inclinations of anything else we paid up front but to our amazement we got a email of butlins saying they wanted not £140 which was with the £42-50p up front leaving £100 to be paid which I was going to do there's were we was getting caught out for they've emailed me confirming our booking for the holiday and then this was the catch they wanted another £100 on top of what we had paid for entertainment passes £20 each per person which to us been alrighty done but no so rights as she did. Got onto to butlins and asked how this was going up so much for exactly the same as what we had in all the years we been going. There reply was it is not going up it's because of the refurbishment that has happened and that's why so misses said that's not our fault it is false representation of your advertisement and we want to cancel our booking telling them reference number and name and to get our deposit back but no they cancelled the holiday with them but they wouldn't give back the deposit saying you should have done it in the first twenty four hours. So we lost the £40 plus we are not going there for the first time in twelve years so instead of four times a year going there will be not going at all for it's a shame about it and I'm gutted for them not letting anyone know that they were going to do that plus it makes the sun look bad for advertising there company in the sun £9-50 holiday's
