Form 8βs science lesson was a hot one! This experiment was modelling the release of energy from glucose during the respiration process
Form 2 split into teams in their Forest School session and set tracks for the other groups to follow. Their tracks were so good that everyone found their treasure π
A glorious day for Forms 3&4 to head off to Maiden Castle. They are going to reenact a Roman battle and definitely look ready as they left school! π‘ βοΈ
Form 4 have been squeezing a lot of activites into their residential. High ropes and ice creams (not at the same time) but their final day has been an exciting one. We look forward to hearing more about their few days away when they return later.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Opening Morning visitors. Tour guides and refreshments are ready.
Form 4 are having a great time on their residential. Having built their rafts it was time to test them. No one sank which is always a bonus! They have also been kayaking and went on a night walk to Corfe Castle. Their adventures continue today and tomorrow.
We are proud to be supporting this wonderful charity.
Miss Emily is back with us this term and taught some of our Nursery, Reception and Form 1 children for their ballet lesson. Great fun!
Form 4 have just left for their residential to Brenscombe Outdoor Centre. All very excited about their activities and the weather looks great π
Letβs Explore down in Nursery and Reception are very busy this afternoon. Thereβs a wonderful aroma of melted chocolate as they dip their apples and decorate them. Itβs tasty but they are also gaining an understanding of liquids and solids. Those doing art were making clay hedgehogs and learning all about hibernation and the importance of ensuring there are no hedgehogs hiding under their November 5th bonfires! Another group were making fir cone decorations.
The lunchtime Sewing Bee Club has been busy concentrating and creating.
Form 8 have been busy preparing for their performance of βMuch Adoβ. We are looking forward to their performance at Weymouth Pavilion on 7th November @ 7pm. Here we have some of the girls in their Claudio, Hero, Margaret, Benedick and Beatrice costumes π
When Form 5 are concentrating on their Victorian art, someone tries to get in on the act! π

Today we are supporting Jeans for Genes Day by raising money to help some of the most vulnerable children in the UK affected by a genetic disorder. Thank you all for wearing denim and making a contribution ππ
Form 4βs began their Musical Circus with a trumpet and trombone lesson. It was exciting, noisy and great fun (and the start of many). Form 3 will be learning the violin. Did you know that over 80% of our pupils take instrumental lessons at school? πΊπ»πΌ
A huge welcome to our new Reception class. We had a visit from the Dorset Echo photographer this morning, look out for them in the paper! π·
