We hope you all enjoyed a lovely week off, and we look forward to seeing our lovely little Sunshiners again for the last term of the year! We are holding our super-fun Halloween party on Wednesday October the 31st. If it isn't your child's usual day you can either swap a session or they can come in extra. Please let a member of staff know if you wish to do this. The party will be on the usual am and pm session times and we will be having lots of party food and Halloween fun. We look forward to seeing lots of fancy dress costumes! 🌞

We'd like to thank our amazing Sunshine parents for their patience and understanding over this past week or two. It's been a nightmare for us having to try to make sure we informed all parents of what was happening - especially since we didn't have much time to do it - but we did our best and we know it's probably been a nightmare for you too. So thank you again for your support! 🌞

GOOD NEWS ALERT! We are open as usual tomorrow and that should hopefully be the end of the closures. See you all tomorrow 🌞

IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS: The Community Centre is unfortunately closed again on Wednesday and Thursday this week, so Sunshine won't be open on those days. If you ring the Centre on 0191 5368085 at some point on Thursday they'll let you know if we're able to open on Friday! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Over the next couple of months we are going to be having a tombola and a raffle (dates to be confirmed) so we would really appreciate anything you could donate for prizes. Anything would be very gratefully received. Thank you! 🌞

We can't believe it's October already, and we have half term holidays coming up! We break up on Friday the 19th Oct and return on Monday the 29th. Then it's the big run up to Christmas! We'll keep you informed about dates etc. as we have lots of exciting times ahead!

Phew, that's another year over - and oh boy it's been an eventful but succesful one! We would like to thank all the parents and children for our pressies, we feel truly spoilt! It's been brilliant getting to spend time with the children and we feel very lucky to be in the job that we're in. Thank you again and we'll see some of you in September!!! 💛🌞

Don't forget it's our super-fun leaving party on Tuesday! The morning party is from 9am -11.30am and the afternoon party is from 12.30pm-3pm. Hope to see all of our little Sunshiners there! 🌞

Note to Sunshine parents: We are getting rid of some toys from our outside area - so if any of you would like any - have a look and help yourselves. There are cars, bikes and all kinds of stuff. Please have a look over the next few days, and take anything that you can put to use. Thanks 🌞 Edited to add: The toys available to take are all behind the Police bike shed.

Important update to those whose children are returning in September: on the letter we sent out we've said we reopen on Monday the 3rd, but we're actually booked in for staff training - so we shall be opening on Tuesday the 4th instead. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll try to make sure we tell everyone but in the meantime please spread the word. We don't want anyone traipsing all the way to Sunshine unnecessary. Thank you 🌞

A few of you have asked when we break up for the Summer Hols; well Thursday the 19th of July is our last day as we have staff training on the Friday. If you think (as I used to) that "staff training" is just an excuse for an extra day off, then nope you're wrong we are actually having a training day! We'll put a newsletter out soon but this is just a heads up to keep you all informed 🌞

We're celebrating the World Cup at Sunshine all next week, so please feel free to dress your child in football strips/shorts and t shirts. We will be having lots of football matches complete with half time oranges 🌞

Please spread the word, we have spaces available from September for 2 and 3 year olds. We offer 15 free hours for 3 year olds (and 2 year olds who qualify), and also 30 free hours for 3 year olds who qualify. Thank you 🌞

We are closed next week for half term (woohoo!) and will be open for business as usual on Monday the 4th of June! 😊🌞

I can't believe these last two weeks have gone so fast, but we hope our little Sunshiners have had a lovely break and we'll look forward to seeing you all next week. I don't want to jinx it but my weather app promises it's going to get a bit nicer after today - so lets hope we can get outside for lots of fun and activities 🌞

This playgroup is amazing all 3 of my babies went here in fact 1 currently going can't ask for a better group of ladies to be looking after my mini me's plus they all loved it n didn't want to leave massive bonus ♡♡♡♡

My son's been going to sunshine since Easter the staff are lovely he loves going in and always leaves with a smile. I would recommend this nursery to anyone
