Poor advice and attempted to scare me into a purchase by lying and saying my current equipment would break with what I wanted to buy and needed a more expensive item when I knew it was perfectly adequate.

Stock standard gear but poor attitude of staff trying to sell gear not always the best for the customer but their pocket. Still if they have it it's usually cheaper than elsewhere.

This is the worst shop I've EVER been to. If this was a supermarket it would be Aldi. I went into this store to purchase a set of speakers and an av receiver.
When I asked for help choosing a product they weren't hesitant to show me the most expensive product in the store straightaway. They didn't even ask me what I would be needing it for or how much I'm looking to spend. They straight away tried convincing me that I should buy £2000 worth of equipment for my bedroom (whos my dad Donald Trump). I didn't listen to what they said and went to look at other speakers.
The female assistant who had served me had the worst customer service skills imaginable. She took 1 hour to set up a demo for me (what a sloth). I was told it would take half an hour to set up. She had no idea what she was doing.

(NOW THE WORST BIT) I ended up buying myself a speaker package and an av receiver. The person who was serving me went out their way to point out that the speaker package does not come with a subwoofer cable and any speaker cables. I thought that was a bit odd. So she told me to buy some from them and I ended up spending another £50 on cables. I went home to find out that she had lied to me and that the speaker package did have a subwoofer cable and speaker cables. So I phoned them the next day and explained to them that they had sold me extra cables when there was already some included. They replied back saying "yeah but my colleague was just trying to sell you the best, unfortunately we can't give you a refund but we have done you a favour". I don't think that they understood that I didn't want any extra cables even if it was the best. They had lied to me in order to sell me more stuff. When I pointed that out they tried justifying it by saying that it was only to give me better wires. I will NEVER EVER be going here again. (Plus they have absolutely nothing in stock).

Total service+. Matched & beat other offers. First class service and exceeded in all ways.

Totally agree with previous review. Had a clear idea of what I wanted in terms of amp and speakers which they smarmily tried to talk me out of. Proceeded directly across the street to Richer Sound where I got exactly what I wanted with great customer service to boot.

Helpful staff. Good range of products.
