We brought our family here for a treat. They are very friendly and polite. The service is excellent and the food is excellent too. Would recommend anytime.

The friend who recommended Surma said they did a pickle tray of dreams. I laughed, but how true that turned out to be... the whole meal was amazing, the staff so welcoming. Even though we don't live there, we would drive back to Barton just for this place.

The best curry I've ever had 'Surma Chicken' was amazing. Superb, complements to the chef and thank you and the staff for your excellent hospitality and service. First class.

Naz and the boys are always welcoming and the chef is very talented offering different dishes to other restaurants in the Hull/Barton area that we really like. Top of our list this place, and has been for years.

I have been going to the Surma Indian Restaurant ever since it opened 23 years ago .

Then Hudda and family were in charge, it was a brilliant restaraunt. They even invented a dish for me which is now on the menu, it was known then as Gina's special now it is king prawn sagwalla "delicious" Now Nas Syd and staff are there and nothing has changed. Nothing Is too much bother for them, The food is and has always been excellent the service excellent i can't praise them enough. I have spent a lot of my birthdays celebration 's there and my family's birthdays I even got a marriage proposal whilst dining there. lol sadly nothing became of It. So yes i would recommend dining there every time. That's why I have given it 5 stars

Excellent food and service as always

Any one of the dishes would be a lesser chef's signature dish, but these guys have two dozen of them. Add excellent service, and you've got a winner. Been going since it opened, never had a less than top-class experience.
