Bike fixed 100% - great service and good price. Will be using again and again...

If you care about your bike(s) then take them elsewhere. Used Cycleworks here for 7 years and were always great. This new outfit (seems to have changed hands) is nowhere near as good. Took 2 bikes in for a minor service, booked well in advance. Told on arrival they couldn't get both done that day meaning 2 collections or a delay. Both were left there very clean other than the drivetrain with only minor adjustments needed. Both came back with dirty finger marks everywhere as well as dirt and mess (test ride presumably) that wasn't there before. Gears on one bike still very obviously not shifting right (the other bike was fine anyway). Yellow bar tape in particular was covered in dirty hand marks not there before and now in need of changing. Front wheel returned way off line with handlebars on one bike. Paid over £200 and chain / gears / jockey wheels not cleaned at all but given some fresh lube??? Reported all this to the guy at the desk who wasn't phased. Returned to tell me cleaning isn't part of it.

Obviously not after repeat business. Why did I bother.

I've used them for all my bike fitting needs for the last few years. Very professional and good value, not just trying to upsell you on stuff you don't need. Also had my road bike services there and the mechanics seemed top notch too. Highly recommended.

Friendly, relaxed feel about the store and staff. I Was given loads of great advice and didn't feel pushed into my bike purchase. Even on returning for a first free service the guys there still showed interest and wanted to chat. Would highly recommend A*

I recently bought a new road bike bike from Surrey Hills Cycleworks which was a complete pleasure from start to finish. I was advised professionally on bike fit and equipment throughout the process, they even recommended I go on one of their regular shop rides to test the bike to see if it really was the one for me, which was great fun, although I was a little slow! The guys there are really nice, genuine and there is always a tea or coffee and chat or advice on offer. I'll be one of the regulars from now on. I'm looking forward to the next ride!
