... Joey and the Jivers hail from the Isle of Wight and they are no stranger to Ruby's. On every occasion they have played for us they have brought the house down with their electric performance. If you love rock n' roll and boogie-woogie, then this is the band for you. Joey is a regular at weekenders and their 4-piece line up consists of keyboards, rhythm guitar, bass, and drums. You will love their sound so please don't miss them.
In between the guys sets Surrey Jive's resident DJ Shakin' Shep will be playing his usual mix of R&B, Rock n' Roll and Jump Jive. Ruby's is well attended, and Surrey Jive creates a warm and friendly atmosphere which is unique and makes people want to return month after month.
Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall has a large sprung dance floor, licensed bar and plenty of free parking. The hall is situated close to the M25.

I have to confess I made a HUGE mistake by not booking 'The Roosters' sooner! So if there are any clubs looking for a top band then 'The Roosters' really are it. Very few bands can boast that they can keep the dance floor busy all night but that's exactly what Kevin Swain and the guys did. Thank you all for making our dance such a brilliant night. You will be back at Ruby's I promise....we even had a special guest appearance by Mick Skilton on bass. Looking good mate! A big t...hank you to you all for creating such a great atmosphere and for the support you show us. To Kev and Wendy for helping us to set up and to Molly for taking such great photos.
