caterham used to be a nice frendley place i used to live on stafford road and wnew nearly every body we lived next to the level crossing there is a bridge there now my sister used to own hewitts green grocers

Where would we be without our local papers? Everyone says they never read them but expect them to magically 'ride to the rescue' if there are local problems and report all the dramas and triumphs. I couldn't write my Facebook Page without Get Surrey, so I'm saying a big thank you - and long may you continue!

It's local news, not always the best factually, maybe even misleading on occasions but it's current and almost real time reporting so that's to be expected.

It's free and if you don't like what or how Get Surrey report, simply don't read it. It's quite boring reading all the complaints when Get Surrey do a better job than some nationally funded tabloids.

If anyone finds a brown wallet in the Sunbury area around The Avenue/ St Pauls School please get in contact. It has an important photo in there, along with my boyfriends drivers licence and MoT tester card. So very important!

There were 3 cars broken into at St Pauls this evening and the scumbags made off on bikes when caught and chased. Police came and told us they had many reports of lads on bikes hanging around car parks in the area inc. Virgin Gym.

The Surrey Advertiser has an article about rats in Guildford and a real piece of political spin blaming 'multiple occupation properties for putting out too much rubbish



when the real truth is that



dustbin collections have been reduced, don't always happen when they should and unless busy people phone the Council and complain, its another two weeks before the rubbish is collected.



It may also have been made worse by another Coalition inspired policy to cut local government spending on paying for rat catchers to deal with domestic infestations and expecting the public to pick up the cost themselves - and we are seeing the results writ large....

We also reserve the right to ban users from the Get Surrey Facebook page if they do not adhere to these rules.

I have suggested they put these rules in the about section of their page, at present they are nowhere to be found on the Facebook page. So I have posted them here to help people.

some of its useful like transport updates. The rest is click bait crap. Too much rubbish like "Love Island star (?) spotted in Guildford". Less of that if you please.

Whoever shares the stories posted by Get Surrey lacks any sense of objectivity.

This creates a lack of integrity which sullies sometimes useful news reports.

It could do with less celebrity gossip and other such click bait. But when it is on point it has been very helpful.

Too many adverts now appearing before you can view the news stories. Also, over the past year or so it is becoming too sensationalist and glossy magazine'ist - if I want to know about Celebs I would buy Heat! Keep to good quality journalism and local stories or you'll find people start looking for alternatives.

Adverts dominate the navigation sadly - needs sorting. It’s virtually unreadable due to marketing bombardment �

the information getsurrey post is not always correct!! A recent post about a young boy being hit by a car in Farnham stated he was left with head injuries and other problems which he was not! I know the young lad personally and he was very distressed to have seen the lies written in this news article! Absolutely disgusted that they can get away with writing lies about his condition without his permission!

This page has become a complete load of crap. My 11yo would do a better job.
