Our beautiful Claudette marries her gorgeous groom today. We have all fallen in love with Claudette, genuine, funny, kind and loved. Have a fabulous wedding day, and a wonderful honeymoon.

I know I say this all the time, but I am so thankful for our wonderful brides and grooms. I love it when you see a couple together, and you just know it's meant to be.
And today I got to see such a lovely Bride and Groom, who are perfect together, and you can't help but feel the love they have, it's infectious. I also got to catch up with her bridesmaids, one of whom is a previous bride of mine, and the other a previous bridesmaid. This wedding party will always be ...on of my all time favourites, 3 sisters, who I have seen grow and go out into the world, have babies and prosper since we did the first wedding.
The fact that the Bride has come back to me for her dress, bridesmaid dresses and suits, and has allowed me to be part of her wedding means the world to me. The entire group is just lovely, and they make me feel part of the family. All headed up by a very proud mum and dad of three very lovely daughters.
So big thank you for making me part of your special day once again. We don't just sell beautiful wedding dresses, we get to see marriages made, and love celebrated. Blooming marvellous!

You made this morning really very special for both me and mum, and we can't wait to see you again. Having lost 8 stone I still see myself as a big girl and being offered dresses I never dreamed I'd fit into was a dream come true, never mind looking incredible in them! Sue knew exactly what would suit me and was refreshingly honest in answering ...every question I had. She also told me I have an amazing figure, those are words I've never heard spoken aloud before I have no doubt in my mind that she knew exactly which dress I should have...but let me try a million on until I discovered it for myself. Nothing was too much trouble and she made me feel like the only bride in the world for the time I was with her. Couldn't recommend her more highly. Amazing ?

I was very pleased to receive this lovely photo from the recently married Sarah. Our fabulous seamstress Julia transformed the already beautiful dress into exactly what Sarah wanted. We appreciated the fact that Sarah trusted us completely to do exactly as she had in her mind, as the change was quite dramatic. But she allowed Julia to do what was needed, and we were all so pleased with the results. It is a big leap of faith to change something on a dress, and trust in your seamstress is key. Julia works her magic, and we are always so thrilled with what she can create.

I received an email from a lovely lady yesterday. She made my day with her kind words about how much she had enjoyed her visit with me and how her experience was so special. I show so many women how beautiful and lovely they are, and for someone to take the time to send ME such a wonderful email telling me how good I am at my job, and what a difference I’d made to her, was just wonderful and very much appreciated.
We do enjoy our work, but like all jobs, it can be stressful and demanding at times, so to receive a lovely, heartfelt message like that, makes it all worth it.
So thank you very much! You made a difference to my day. I’m glad you had a lovely experience and pleased you enjoyed Your special lunch and cake at The Tea Exchange after.

Well today has been lovely. Had a few appointments at the same time and the kindness and support from the brides towards each other was so wonderful. Seeing brides and mums excitedly talk to each other and help with advise etc was absolutely fabulous. Such a lovely warm atmosphere - thank you, it made my day extra nice.

Went with my daughter for a look, she wanted an idea of what style dress would suit her. Had no intention of buying as this was the first shop we went to....Steph was brilliant, showed us so many dresses and had the patience of a saint while my daughter tried them on. She gave helpful advice and was very knowledgable. The range of dresses is amazing! We didn’t go anywhere else....she chose and ordered her dress!

Today I found my wedding dress � thank you for all your help and patience. I will be back to sort the bridesmaid dresses very soon.

This was the first dress shop I visited and had plans to visit at least 2 more. Me and my squad received so much help and advice and they even put up with my baby tagging along. Our assistant was patient after we excitedly chose hundreds to try on. She made suggestions based on features I liked and didn't like and appeared to know the stock well. I found my perfect dress and was not leaving without it! Not met the seamstress yet but we're booked in and I'm confident she'll adjust the dress perfectly. Highly recommend x

The girls at Susan Nicholas are absolutely amazing! A couple of years ago my mum brought her dress to renew her vows and me a bridesmaid dress. I then became a returning customer when I came back looking for my wedding dress last year.



There is a wide range of beautiful dresses in small and large sizes, and the girls are great with their knowledge. They are so friendly and really make you feel comfortable whilst trying on dresses. They keep you up to date with the delivery of your dresses and have in house alterations by the amazing Julia.



Thank you for all your help with finding me the most beautiful perfect dress! I have had so many comments on how amazing it was, definitely worth every penny. X

Sue and her staff are amazing, this was the only place I went to as they were so lovely, the range of dresses is incredible, I never felt I needed to look elsewhere. The service was professional but honest, sue helped me find the perfect dress! Being pregnant at the time of ordering the dress and not knowing, what size I would be by the wedding, sues advice was appreciated. I cannot thank the seamstress enough, she is amazing, the alterations and the work she put into the dress was so much more than I could of hoped for. Will be recommending to all, it’s such a shame i can’t do it again �

Sue and her girls were so helpful with me and my partner, I got my dress from her and she made me feel at ease as soon as I went in the shop, my partner also got his and his grooms men’s suits from the shop, neither of us have a bad word to say. Sue and her team are simply amazing. From day one they made sure they looked after me. Sue opened the shop for me to fit in with my working hours. I was met with a smile and expert advice from the start. It wasn’t just my dress that was discussed, we spoke about hair and earrings. Sue was genuinely interested in the big day and I loved sharing aspects of the day with her. She made me feel at ease instantly and I was so comfortable in her presence. I love my Soterro and Midgely dress and couldn’t recommend the service enough!!! �

I had an absolutely amazing experience, I went to many dress shops and I can honestly say this one made me feel the most comfortable nothing was to much trouble! Highly recommended ��

Couldnt recommend Sue & her staff enough! I visited a few bridal shops before i found out about Savvy Cinderella (now Susan Nicholas Bridal) and the service and choice was nothing compared to what we got here, there is a huge choice of dresses and everyone is so lovely and friendly. I didnt feel rushed when picking or trying on all the dresses i kept finding and there was never any pressure for me to buy anything. I found my dream dress and from start to finish the service I received was excellent. Very highly recommended!! �

Almost 2 years ago I went into Susan Nicholas bridal without a single idea of what I wanted, I thought I knew what I didn’t want but turns out I was wrong, all those things I feared, were just perfect for me!

I was not stick thin or petite and was very nervous how I would look but with the right dress it was perfect and to be made to feel totally at ease with your semi naked self because of the most professional lovely staff, what more can you ask for? Oh yes I asked to completely change the back of the dress � but... it was done!

These ladies are absolute masters of their trade! I’m slightly gutted I won’t be getting married again just for the experience but I have gained friends for life! � Sue Julia and Lil much love xx
