Sutton Bonington Hall

Such a lovely way to start the day!

There was a lot of LOVE in the garden for Katherine and Paul’s wedding at Sutton Bonington Hall on Saturday! Very many congratulations.

Where to start! We got married at the beginning of February 2018, and couldn’t have been happier with our choice of venue. Sutton Bonington has it all: a lovely country house feel, a cosy library complete with wood burning stove, an atmospheric conservatory adorned with fairy lights, lovely gardens making for great wedding photo settings, and the option to stay overnight and be served a yummy breakfast the following morning!



Claire and Eddie were so helpful in the run up to the wedding, offering loads of helpful suggestions and were really accommodating. On top of that, the catering company SBH use - Portfolio Events - with Charlotte and her team were fantastic throughout (despite only having a couple of months to plan the wedding), and really took the stress out of the day for us as we knew everything was completely under control. A really personal venue and great for our numbers (60 day guests, 85 evening guests). We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thanks Claire and Eddie!

We got married at Sutton Bonington Hall in May and had the most amazing experience! The hall and gardens are beautiful and the whole feel of the place is so laid back and homely which is why we chose it. The hall doesn’t have weddings every day like so many other places we saw and this makes such a difference as it felt much more personal.



From start to finish the owners were lovely, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were able to make the day exactly what we wanted, even down to decorating the hall ourselves the day before.



The caterers we used (Portfolio) were also fabulous. The food was delicious and they were so professional.



We wish we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing about our day!

Thank you for being so accommodating with having just 5 weeks to plan our wedding with you.

Sutton Bonington Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding reception in October. We fell in love with it from the first time we visited.

The amazing mix of rooms, such as the beautiful library or the orangery with views of the gardens, gave us a great selection of places for our guests.

Claire and Eddie were the perfect hosts and couldn’t have been more accommodating, even down to the breakfast the morning after the wedding and the help packing away (which we had expected to do ourselves).

It was great for photos both before the wedding (the bridal party getting ready) and the main reception.

Anyone looking for a venue should consider Sutton Bonington Hall; it was simply perfect for us.
