Due to a bereavement the Post Office will be closed this afternoon. Open tomorrow 9-1 then 2-5.30. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We had a comment on one of our posts from a lady in Georgia! This got us thinking. I know a lot of our customers are from the local area. Is there anyone that travels to see us?

As you’ll see from previous posts Kes ran the London marathon . A great achievement I’m sure you’ll agree. She also had a cake sale outside the shop to raise money for Demantia Revolution. Kes determination has inspired us to follow suit. Not with running a marathon I hasten to add. We thought we could make good use of our garden and hopefully host a monthly event. Our aim is to set up some kind of stall. Maybe a cake sale or even a bbq if we get some nice weather to raise money for local causes. Any ideas welcome and watch this space.

Did you know we had a dry cleaning service? Warburtons dry cleaners come to us on a Monday and Thursday for collections.
