A huge well done to the team who completed the London to Brighton bike ride yesterday! There are some very sore bottoms this morning but knowing they exceeded their £2.5k target makes it all worth while! #TeamKeystone #DoingItForBen #TreeOfHope

Where do I start. Fantastic flat pitches, huge space between pitches, so so friendly, very clean showers, and toilets. Like the fact there is more than one toilet block. Everybody respectful of 5 miles an hour speed limit. Sounds if nature is so relaxing. It just had a very safe feel about it. Huge space in middle of field for kids to play without knocking into tents. Basic pool but lovely. Free activities. Lovely hot powerful showers although showers could do with a stall in each one to put ya bag on do clothes don't get wet. And be lovely if there was a park. Will 100 per cent be back.

User

We were supposed to be there for 5 nights, but decided to add on another 2 nights, it really was a fantastic week, we went there last year for a week, but this year was better, the chef cooks the best meals, tyrone, fantastic chef, and his other half elenor really was so lovely, all the staff were really friendly and so was the other campers, we will be going back in September, can't wait

User

We spent 6 nights at sutton vale country park camping with electric they are large pitches its very good priced staff was very friendly and overall a lovely site one set of toilets were a bit tired but it did say they were being upgraded in october 2016 although they were very clean there wasnt a park like stated nor did i find a shop on site but apart from that we all had a great time and the kids joined in games with other campers on the spacious field we will return and would recommend the site

User

We came for sunday lunch 21st Jan. 14 of us + wheelchair. What a lovely lunch great staff, lovely atmosphere. Lovely food. Def recommend it here. We will def be back thank you....

User

This site is absolutely lovely, the people are really nice and don't mind stopping to chat. The club/bar is nice and clean and the swimming pool area is clean. Water could've been a little warmer but hey ho. The whole site is well maintained. The campsite toilets were always clean as was the showers which had loads of hot water unlike some sites we visited and constant running water not push buttons. Pitch sizes are really generous we had caravan + awning, 2man dome tent and a 4man tent all on one pitch with plenty of room for table n chairs. Electric hook up with a light (our 1 didn't work but we did report at the end) and water tap on pitch. Massive playing field for the kids right in the middle so can always be seen. I would highly recommend this site to family n friends and we will definitely be staying again x x

User

Peaceful camp site very close to home nice to do 1 night stay with the kids staff are really friendly aswell

User

Just spent six nights at Sutton Vale with my partner and four children. We had a fantastic time and didn’t want to leave. Facilities are basic but do the job. Only complaint we had was the dryers in the laundry are rubbish, so nothing major. The pool was perfect for the kids and we went almost daily. Close to the lovely Solleys ice cream parlour, and we had days out to Deal and Botany Bay. This was one of the friendliest holidays we’ve ever had, it felt like holidays used to when we were kids. Good old fashioned fun and the kids had so much freedom. The other campers and the staff were all brilliant, and we’ve made some new friends and will be back next year for sure.

User

Just spent a wonderful afternoon outside on the decking area enjoying a superb BBQ and a cool refreshing beer. Such a relaxing venue with great staff. Would have dipped in the pool but forgot the Speedo’s!! Definitely going back! Thanks Sutton Vale!

User

Just back from a fantastic few days camping at the park , such a warm welcome from all the staff from the minute we arrived nothing was too much trouble . Large pitch sizes, children loved the heated indoor pool and large space to play, spotlessly clean and well maintained facilities , Lovely bar with a pool table for the children , fabulous roast on a Sunday I'd highly recommend giving it a try .. we'll definitely be back soon ,

User

Had a lovely bank holiday weekend at Sutton Vale, my 5 year old had a blast. Mainly dancing non stop and loved the pool. So much for little ones to do. The staff are so fantastic. The new tent survived the thunder and lightening too. Will def re-book soon x

User

Had a great weekend at the park kids loved every minute , people and staff in the park are lovely , would recommend

User

Been coming here a few years now. Seen some great improvements to the site this year, and is on going!

Lovely up and coming family run site. Really friendly, approachable, flexible and professional staff. Always go the extra mile, one of our favourites

User

Been camping all over the country and been to many sites and this had got to be in the Top 10.

Staff were friendly, toilets are clean and tidy even though a bit dated...but they are very very usable.

The bar was being refurbished so the Ruby suite was open, for a cold beer and The resident DJ.

Very family friendly. Quite park. Plenty of space on the touring pitch. Very reasonable prices too.

Only down side is no on site shop not even for a pint of milk

User

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Toilets and showers were clean. Swimming pool and live entertainment were an added bonus.

Waking up to Daisys breakfast cart was wonderful and very reasonably priced, the kids loved eating waffles on a stick.

It was a peaceful area and we enjoyed our stay.

Although , the place could of done with a little shop to buy some essentials.

User

Just got back from a 2 nite stay in a chalet, it was clean tidy and spacious, could do with a fridge to keep milk and drinks cool.patio area out the back could do with some improvement, not that we needed it on this stay as we had friends to visit in deal. Nice bar and very friendly staff, caravan park very nice and quite. We will be booking again as it's very convenient to drive to deal and reasonable price

User

We used this site as a stop off before getting the ferry in the morning and again when we returned a week later before our drive home, so location wise was ideal for us nice as it was close to the port.

Check in was simple enough, but they don't take us to the pitch, like most other sites. On arrival to the pitch, which is very generous in size, on the first night the one neighbour moved his car as it was parked on our pitch, the second night the neighbours car was half on ours, either time this wasn't an issue as we were only there one night in our folding camper and didn't need that much space.

By the camping field there are toilets and sinks for washing up, the mens is very small and only contains one toilet, one urinal and 2 sinks, there is another toilet/shower block towards the bar/pool, which is a lot bigger. Each is cleaned 3 times a day and monitored hourly, which is very good and reassuring.

The bar is very large and the staff were very helpful with our drink requests for the kids, there is a small Indoor play area by the bar with a few toys there, we didn't use it as we didn't arrive till 8pm.

by the pitches is a burger van and a small veg stall, food was very good and hit the right spot.

There is a pool on site and a kids club, we didn't use these, only because of the time we arrived and were only stopping one night.

now, on the site is a speed limit with speed humps however, when you enter the camping field on several occasions people seemed to think this was an opportunity to speed up, which is very concerning seeing as there was a lot of kids running around and there is a blindspot for anyone walking to the toilet and the cars picking up speed.

overall, this campsite was ideal for our brief stay, should we stayed for a week, again would of been ideal, as there is lots to do in the area or if you wanted a slow day, there's enough to do on site to entertain the kids. just watch out for the speedsters

User

Returned from a trial 2 night stay. Have to say I won't be returning. Plus point is the pool was clean n acceptable. The pitch size is ok but have stayed at much larger n defined. The shower block is ok but needs private sinks so u can wash in private without a shower all the time. Especially when being scolded when showers ran out of cold water! The camping toilets are awful. I know they are being upgraded but that is no excuse for allowing them to get to this state in the first place! (People have still paid to have these far less than acceptable standard of facilities). This could be a nice site & is near nice beaches but I wouldn't put my family through staying again. Good luck

User

Went for a lunch. A little disappointed - "Country Park" is a little misleading.

We had Carvery... Not impressed, I'm thinking I had the fatiest Part of the fastest cow in the field.

The inside reminds me of 1980s working mens club.

Staff were pleasant. And although told to take a seat and the kids dessert would be brought out, I was actually called across from the play area to collect it as she stood behind a wall. (abandoning my own unsatisfactory meal)

On a positive - if you've got this on a £10 holiday deal you haven't wasted your money.

User

Looks like it could be a great place, we had 3 pitches with electrical hook up, pitch sizes were very large and well kept, however there seemed to be 2 male toilets which I can see being a problem if all 30 pitches are booked, the arcade had 2 machines and a grabber currently working and the play area was ok for about 4 children, the pool also was freezing and they have NO lifeguard, we went over for kids bingo at 7 and it finally started about 8.30, although the bar area was clean and tidy, staff were polite and nobody bothered us and we had an ok stay

User
