I love this image from last weeks wedding! It captures something I’ve been considering recently. Weddings like life can be overwhelming and stressful. We can get caught up in the details and loose sight of what really counts. I think it’s so important to create space, moments were we can breath and reflect on what matters most. That’s what I see in this image an opportunity to appreciate the enormous blessing of each other amidst the craziness of the day. (We hid them under the veil to do this!) It’s something that’s key for us in our photography. We want to create a beautiful pocket of time, whether that’s a baby session, family or wedding, where people can just pause, find gratitude and joy in each other. It’s not easy but I hope I can create more of these moments in my life as well as my work.
