This place is AWESOME!! The range of fish and aquariums is amazing! I visit this place as often as possible, at least twice a week whilst visiting relatives.

The display tanks are always pristine. The staffs' knowledge on ALL fish is next to none. They always have time to discuss problems, you are never made to feel stupid and their advice has definitely helped me. It is now difficult to ho anywhere else.

The staff were very helpful and polite. An all seemed really happy and very friendly.

Spoke to one of the guys today about my poorly chameleon and he knew exactly what the problem was! Very knowledgable and helpful! Within an hour he is looking better. Thank u so much

Bought some hamsters just before Xmas. The customer service and advice was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Also had some water testing done for a marine tank and staff were very patient and spent a fair amount of time helping me.

They have always been 1st class regarding tropical and cold water fish ... They also trade in tropical lizards and snakes ... Although a little expensive, they deal with most stock regarding all pets ... Aquariums all sizes ... Ponds and plants also

Can anyone tell me how long swallow aquatics express delivery takes, placed an order on the 30/12/13

Turned up at 1645 today went round and all pond koi covered up and netted off so couldn't see what was on sale there.shame really as had card in pocket ready to buy 10 new big koi for pond .looks like I be shopping somewhere else now for my pond bits

poor. they have so many animals all over the place that their staff cannot possibly offer good advice on keeping them all. Their tanks are overstocked and there are many dead fish in the display tanks. The plants section is awful with many of the species in there being terrestrial plants that will just slowly rot in their tanks. You're more like pets at home where retails comes first than a real fish shop

Visited today. Terrible service. When I ask about buying a fish tank and ask for advice, get told to go and look at them over there. Bloke behind the counter huffed and puffed at the inconvenience when I asked him to show me, let alone offer any advice. Every fish I asked about was out of stock and going to take a couple of weeks. Have the stuff in there wernt labelled so had to keep asking which only seem to annoy the staff more. Nightmare. Only visit if you are a very experienced person. Dont expect any help or guidance, youll just annoy them. Was looking to spend 500 quid on a second tank and new fish, ill take my money to Living Reef Aquatics in Dartford tomorrow, so much more friendly and helpful. Avoid this place. Go to Living Reef Aquatics in Dartford instead, there awsome.

Used to come here often last year and was very happy buying from here but have hardly gone there this year as each time we have gone the service has been very poor hard to get an answer out of any of them if the fish are not written up on the tanks they can't sell them which seemed to be about 6 different fish I liked and wanted so walked away with nothing which was a waste of my time some of the staff are very blunt and come across moody



We go back each time every few months to try and shop their again (as i said we used to be very happy to make the 30 ish mile trip there and back to buy from here) but nothing changes so will not be wasting my time anymore

Terrible service... Went all the way there today to buy a coral but because no one in the shop knew how much it was they wouldn't sell it to me! Not wasting my time going there again - unbelievable!!!

Still keeping Betta fish in small unfiltered containers when we all know that is not okay. When I visited today 4 of them were already dead. Staff are clearly oblivious or just don’t care

Lots of dead and skinny fish, avoid!

Just been to swallows at southfleet, it's just moved into a new building so very nice there, but customer service is terrible, l was left standing for ages, in my frustration went to the till and was told someone would be over but still left waiting, in the end I walked out, what a joke.

They seem to have lots of staff but when I was left waiting I was looking around for help, all staff were busy doing everything else but serving customers, go figure.

I am not sure how this is possible but we've bought fish for our tropical tanks from here 3 times now and each time we have suffered a huge loss of our existing stock.

Seriously... how can this happen 3 times?

We normally stock our tanks from either Polhill, Brookside Garden Centre (BGC) or Aylesford Aquatics and have never had an issue.

I keep our tanks in tip-top condition, even paying for BGC to test our water - even though I use the 6-in-1 test strips. Our water is always spot on...

I haven't read any other reviews if a similar nature but come on, 3 times...?
