Had a great time at the Horning Boat Show last week. Weather was good and we meet some nice people. Glad it's not this week, slightly blustery today! Hire boats are out today so if you see them this week don't forget to give them a wave.

Preparations are well underway for the Horning Boat Show tomorrow. Hope you'll come and say hello. We are based at mooring 13 on the Swan Green Exhibition Area. Look forward to seeing you there.

Hi. Sorry we've not been updating recently but this is what we are upto at the minute. All 3 hire boats have been out for their first runs of the season. In the workshop the boats have been coming in and out at pace and we've got as many through as we could in time for Easter. This week we are enjoying some much nicer weather, the suns been out!

Good evening. Is a very busy time at the yard at the moment. Lots of boats being moved in and out trying to get ready for Easter which seems to suddenly be racing here, can't believe its march next week. The Reed Lighter was finished and looking lovely was returned to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and this week we have Moorhen in the workshop and a couple of the Bure Classics are in being prepared for this years sailing. Weather this week has been mixed sunshine, showers, wind. No snow though thank goodness.

Evening people. We have been busy again this week with the new boats moved into the shed. Norfolk Wildlife Trust's reed lighter is having its annual maintenance in preparation for this years trips around Hickling. Sweetpea is having some modern touches added, hard to believe she's nearly 20 years old and Paul is practising his peddling skills, shame he forgot to launch the boat first! Boatyard weather watch - quite warm considering the recent cold snap but not quite shorts weather yet!

Busy morning at Swallowtail today. Major move around. Boats that are ready moved out of the shed to make way for the next in line. Was very cold out there this morning, basin frozen over again and all the covers were dripping once the sun came out. Work has started on the new addition to our hire fleet. Photos coming soon.... Boatyard weather watch - warmer than yesterday in the snow and ice but not quite sailing weather yet!!! If the basin stays frozen we will be looking for ice breakers - anyone like to volunteer???

Work has been carrying on in the workshop, we have been busy putting a new transom in Elfin and we've also painted the hull on Restless as you can see from the photo's below they've come up a treat. We are also continuing getting the boats turned round in time for Easter (Boatyard weather watch - no ice in the basin today, a balmy 7 degrees!!) Carry on liking us and spreading the word that we're here. Thanks As you can see the boss was on site today, signing off that the work was up to the usual high standard.
