We visited last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary...the service, attention, manners from the staff and the food were top notch...being new to the area we will certainly return ...thank you xx
We have visited here a few times and always had fantastic food and great service and tonight was no exception. Tonight was a father's day treat for my husband and the restaurant was constantly full, but it did not affect the food or the service, both were amazing!
We had a fabulous meal here last night for my husbandâs 40th birthday. We were a large booking with kids and their organisation was superb from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble when it came to decorating the table and sorting out the cake; they made sure that the childrenâs meals came out with starters to give them plenty of time to eat; our meals were served promptly and quickly and were delicious. Plus the round of âhappy birthdayâ song that came when the team brought out the cake was something else! Highly recommended!
We asked friends for recommendations near Stoke as weâre passing through on our way back from N Wales. Both my wife and I had excellent food and great service even my 13 year son loved it.
Very good services from start to finish , lovely sharing starter , a great choice of mains & lively puddings. The drinks were realistically priced aswell .
Took my daughter for her birthday lunch yesterday and we were all very impressed. Food was delicious and well presented. Oriental starter was really good, something different, looked and tasted lovely. Decor gives a good atmosphere and staff were welcoming. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.
Our first visit here as we were bringing our son back to Keele University. We booked it purely on the basis of previous reviews as we don't live in the area. The Sunday lunch was extremely good value at ÂŁ18.95 for 2 courses. The service was excellent with very attentive and professional waiting staff. We'll be back.
Lovely decor, great service, fab beers and amazing food. Creative presentation, good size portion and absolutely delicious. Our children enjoyed it as much as we did. Red Thai curry superb.
Had afternoon tea with friends it was worth every penny, definitely recommend!!!
Great menu choice. Friendly staff the food was excellent, and the cost was reasonable. Wouldnât hesitate to come back here when weâre in the area.
Called in twice now for lunch as we were passing and both times had a delicious meal with very good service. Sat at an outside table yesterday in glorious sunshine.
Booked a table for my boyfriendâs 25th birthday. Fantastic service, and beautiful food. Couldnât have had a lovelier evening. And a legendary rendition of âHappy Birthdayâ was performed by the members of staff that bought the cake out. Would highly recommend!!
My family have been coming to this restaurant for the last 18 months and have always enjoyed good service, an interesting menu, good food and convivial atmosphere. My wife and I booked a late sitting dinner on New Years Eve hoping to celebrate at midnight to the chimes of Big Ben emitting from the speakers in the restaurant. We were disappointed that no arrangements whatsoever had been made to celebrate this special event and the whole room was left with a sense of anticlimax and bewilderment - not even Aud Lang Syne! Surely a restaurant of your stature could have organised a more satisfactory welcome to 2018!
Had a few good and bad experiences in here. But over all itâs good place
Cheese board starter was awesome, triple lamb very nice. Other than that good night and nice food. Menu probably needs a revamp as was the same as the last few visits and is getting a bit stale
Anniversary meal last night for my husband and I,I had salmon which was lovely,my husband had the Thai red curry which he really enjoyed, the only downside I would say was it came with two pieces of salmon which I struggled to finish,(but I did) I would have preferred one piece of salmon and perhaps some veggies to go with it instead,as there were a few small tomatoes and a few mussels, more veg please next time, also we found the sweets were a bit pricey, service was good, donât think we were put off though we will return as the food is really nice and well presented the staff are really attentive also.
We sat out side in the garden area, beautiful evening.. Great food and good service.. Payed the bill, walked out just got past the front door when a waiter came flying around the corner and challenged us if we had paid. Yes, still disbelieving asked who took the payment.. Not so great, never heard in all my days such rudeness. ďż˝
Nice Food as usual however the House burger and amount of chips with it was about a third of what it used to be as if it was off a children's menu. The chips were also nowhere near as nice as in the past. Despite the cutbacks it was still advertised and priced the same on the menu. Not very subtle and Very naive to think people won't notice.
After everything I've heard about here it's a total disappointment and let down.
Starters: if you don't like ginger or tomatoes then you have to hope the soup hasn't got them in aswell. Or your limited to garlic mushrooms that have that much of a powdery breadcrumb topping that it's like eating pure dust. Not to mention the 4 or 5 mushrooms that you get in there. Don't bother with the specials, there advertised but not available (like half of the mains!)
Main: pan cooked chicken supreme. Strange as this chicken is so dry I doubt it's ever seen any sauce in its life. It's also bland as hell, where's the cream and garlic? The only thing that had any taste was the mound of conjealed cheese on top of the spinach.
I only gave this place a 2 for Pascal, he saved the place from a 0. Other than that it's a 0 pushing a 1. Totally disappointing and a waste of money.
