We have worked closely with the Worzals team and Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk to achieve approval for this fantastic facility for Wisbech and the surrounding area.

If houses pique your interest, check out the front page, and pages 114-117 to have a look around Field Barn in Shouldham; a sympathetic conversion that was approved under permitted development rights, and allowed (through negotiation with West Norfolk Planning Department) to raise the roof of the building to allow for increased space. This was due to the enhancement of the building, and the positive impact it has on the surrounding landscape. Largely locally supplied and constructed, this self-build home is an inspiration, and an aspiration!
This year we are very proud that three of SEA’s projects were shortlisted for a Mayors Design Award; Marshland Hall (Conversion Schemes), Field Barn (Conversion Schemes), and 95A Hollycroft Road, Emneth (Single New-Build Properties).

Well…… we had a fantastic evening at the Mayor’s awards last week along with our fantastic clients.
It was great to see our projects in the spotlight along with so many other great projects and to hear the inspiring and encouraging words of the judges. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful following our shortlisting, however, the winners were all high quality schemes and it’s a credit to the level of design within the region.

James has returned to the office today following a fantastic visit to Buckingham Palace celebrating HRH The Prince of Wales’s 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration.
It was a wonderful event and the first official Royal Duty of the newly wed Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry gave an entertaining and inspirational speech to his father celebrating his work and patronages as well as fighting off a bee and commenting on how Royal Prince Charles is to be celebrating his 70th ...birthday 6 months early.
James was there representing Swann Edwards as part the work he has undertaken in collaboration with Business in the Community and Anglian Water supporting local community projects in Wisbech.
James attended the event with others from Wisbech (including Wisbech Museum, Queen Mary Centre and Thomas Clarkson Academy), Anglian Water, Barhale and Fenland District Council who have made a significant contribution to the Business in the Community’s work on responsible business.
The weather was perfect and there was tea, cake and sandwiches a plenty along with entertainment from choirs, ukulele bands and the Band of the Guards division playing a Michael Jackson medley.
