Would like to thank Jason and all the crew from the Swift Hound for everything they did yesterday for my daughter's wedding.

This has to be the Best Family Meal we have ever had and my Restaurant Manager Wife Agrees. As a well travelled family we do eat out very often and have done for many years. Every Single One of the 7 meals were cooked to perfection and was Piping Hot, Well Presented, Great Portions and Really Tasty! Every Plate Was Cleared. The Service was Spot On too. Without doubt we will be returning here again very soon. Excellent. 7 out of 7. Well Done Guys.

Moved to blackpool 8 weeks ago me and my partner been going here regular food really nice good service too and friendly staff even when have guests staying at ours we take them there and they really enjoyed it there and there meal too ....

We have been coming to swift n hound for many years, it's easy to find, central to the B&Bs we stay in and feels like home from home, the food is delicious and the staff are polite n helpful, very popular place, always busy!! We always recommend this place to anyone who wants to find somewhere to eat during their stay in Blackpool!

We don't live far away and just decided to go out for a couple of beers and a bite to eat. My husband had the steak and ale pie which I was cautious of as he had ordered pies previously and has had melt downs because of how awful they have been this did not happen it was a proper pie and Looked appetising and my hubster said it was lovely j just had a burger which was tasty. Staff were friendly at the bar and serving. Great for the price you pay. Will be back, well I only live 10 mins away so be stupid not to.

Nice looking pub with plenty of parking, food is ok, just ya average pub grub, but service VERY SLOW, hardly anybody in, but told there was a 30 minute wait, which turned into nearly 45 minutes, only had bowl of Nacho's and a wrap.

I always have steak but this time i fancied scampi chips and mushy peas I could have used the mushy peas as cement not the best I have had from here won't be in a hurry to go back

They got a two down to the friendly waitresses! Otherwise it would have been 0! Place was dirty, toilets disgusting! Food � well ordered Cajun pasta with roasted peppers and onions.....the put raw peppers and onions on and I think the portion was for a child! Son got nachos, supposed to have cheese sauce with grated cheese.......came a bowl of nachos with grated cheese on burnt, tasted all dry, vial!

Really disappointed with my visit today.

It's a long time since I have been there and I won't be rushing back.

I had one of the rib eye steak meals and so did my colleague.

My colleagues was fine, cooked nicely and he devoured the lot. Mine was 60% fat and gristle.

The server did not ask during the meal if everything was OK, so I patiently waited until the plates were collected at the end to inform of my dissatisfaction. When I did inform the server that I had not enjoyed my meal (and this was also clearly evident by the remains) she simply informed that she was "sorry" to hear that.

I then protested at the til when paying,this time to be told that they are also sorry to hear that but Rib eye steaks are quite fatty.

Both ladies were polite and quite pleasant but were not interested in my complaint.

At least my colleague had a nice meal..�

I had a meal last night with my partner and son, Unfortunately my food was not good at all i had the southern fried chicken burger...nearly broke my tooth with the first bite as the breadcrumbs were so hard had to pick it all off and obviously as it was over cooked the chicken was dry and the chips were stone cold as was my partners he enjoyed his burger thoe. Nither of us ate the chips and I did tell the waitress but she wasn't bothered she said she will let the chef know (what ever that ment?)

if I could give this place no stars I would, I grew up coming to this place and I've never been so disappointed to the point that I wont be returning again, we had to wait 2 hours for our food to come, my partner even had to go to the bar and ask why it was taking too long, to then be told "we haven't even started it yet" after 2 hours are you kidding me?! so then another further 20-30 minute wait it finally came, my partner ordered the pub on the platter challenge meal because it looked nice, he couldn't even eat it because he said it was cold and vile after paying £17.99 for it!!! and I ordered the signature stacks burger which was tasteless, the bacon was stone cold, the burgers themselves were lukewarm so I just left it and ate the chips, then 2 family members of ours ordered 2 lamb Sunday roasts they said the lamb was lovely but the rest of the meal was cold, we also ordered 2 garlic breads with cheese which were probably the best thing we ate out of all the food! we spent over £70 on food and drinks in here and all we enjoyed was the drinks, which may I add wasn't cold either the were room temperature! not impressed at all won't be returning this place has gone downhill over the years and it's a big shame really because it used to be lovely.

Well the love affair with this place had to end.. on visits to blackpool used this pub/resturant for taking the family for a few drinks and an evening meal and to be fair was impressed. Even on tuesday we had a fairly successful visit.. so wednesday we head back thinking lets go somewhere we happy with what can go wrong!!!! Well.. shocking.. wasnt really busy which i was shocked about with the footy being shown.. service was slow for drinks.. on ordering the meals we were told 30-40 mins wait.. not a problem.... 1 and a half hours later we have to ask what is going on.. we werent the only ones there were njmerous people whi were waiting exactly the same some even longer.. when it eventually arrived both side orders were not edible.. waffles red hot but raw potato and garlic bread was charcoal... nunerous people complained to the guy on the bar who said he was the duty manager for the night and then proceeded to tell anyone who would listen that it wasnt his fault and he had told management they needed more staff but they dont listen.one of our party works for greene king and we mentioned what if we were doing a guest experience his answer was we would have failes it as soon as you came ina nd got to the bar.. so inspiring lol.. slagged them off royally for ages in fact was still at it when we left.. wouldnt use again and will make my experience known to head office.

The young girl that served us was lovely but the food was quite poor my husband ordered lasagna and it was FULL of gristle. When we were asked was the food ok my husband said honestly! No with which the manager completely ignored the comment and walked away. So with that I won’t be returning.

SHOCKING!! When ordering food was told there was an hour's wait for food. Which i was a little shocked by as the place wasn't even busy? Anyways I agreed to this as we had an hour and 40 minutes till are film was on which we had already paid for tickets for. 10 minutes later while waiting for are food to come other people where being told 1 hour 30 minutes for food and a sign was placed on the bar. Me and my partner where shocked by this as the place was empty and the people that where sat all had food already bar use and 2 other couples this resulted in 5-6 groups of people leaving to go else where for food.

An hour and 40 minutes later are film was now starting and we still had no food!! But staff on there break where sat with a full plate of food from the kitchen ?? I asked the guy at the bar who was lovely he went to check in the kitchen an said they are just plating it up now it will be a few mins (no sorry for your wait) 10 MINUTES LATE and 10 minutes into the film it came out and WOW what a load of shit!! We waited nearly 2 hours for a lukewarm chicken breast on a bum with a square of cheese cold chips and cold horrible onion rings !! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Meals where burnt, egg was rubberised, not sure how they managed this! Burger so dry, very over cooked!! Gammon on a sizzling plate that was cold to touch! All food was lukewarm! How did the cook and server think this food was good enough to leave kitchen, retraining is definitely need in this kitchen!

Me and my wife ordered mix grills and they arrived not sizzling and the steaks not as ordered. I should of complained at the time. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be going again a waste of £30. crap meal!!

Last night (Thursday 15 February) me and my boyfriend was on a date night. First night in two years. And was so disappointed we was told we had to wait 40 mins we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes and when it did come the food was stone cold. And wile we were waiting for our food a lot of people were taking food back and asking for full refunds. We will NOT be recommending this place to anyone and won't be coming back anytime soon £ 31.60 wasted

Been in several times with no issues, came in yesterday and again all was fine with my meal and my kids, my wife's meal was OK up until around 40 minutes after leaving where she started to feel sick



After spending the night in A&E with her profusely vomiting etc it's rules she has Food Poisoning and she only ate the food from this establishment yesterday



She had the Chicken New Yorker ( which she has had many times before from here and other different establishments)



The only thing we need to decide on now is whether or not to take some form of legal action!
