It took an hour and a half to get there from Grantham with the last 15 minutes being the slowest getting into the park but it was Good Friday and sunny!
... It is a great water park with something for everyone. We had 3 children in the party ranging from 3-7 years old.
There are slides some of which start and finish outside (open at certain times of the year weather permitting) and you can take younger ones on these which ours loved. The treehouse is great for younger ones with lots of buckets, water features, mini slides, ropes to climb and lots more. Then there are the slides for older ones and some with double rings to share the fun.
We went on Good Friday and although it was busy we didn't queue for a long time, the bigger rides had the longest wait about 20 minutes.
We were in the park for 5 hours and the children didn't want to leave when it was time to go, a good sign they enjoyed it.
It was definitely worth the drive and we would go back again.

It's been a fun last week of term and all my swimmers have done really well.
We have hopped like bunnies, gone on Easter egg hunts, found the golden egg and much more.
... Now it's time for a break before lessons start back on Tuesday 23rd April.

After visiting Grantham Swimming Club last week my brother and I have been reminiscing and remembering all the galas we used to go to. My brother Simon decided to get all his medals and old t-shirts out and there were so many we had forgotten about and the dates on them were scary ­¤śé No wonder I love teaching and being in the pool, I spent that much time in or at a swimming pool growing up its like a second home! ­¤ÅŖŌĆŹŌÖĆ’ĖÅ­¤ÅŖŌĆŹŌÖé’ĖÅ­¤Æ”­¤źć­¤Åå

April is Autism Awareness Month

I love teaching children a life skill and I always feel proud of what my swimmers achieve and today is no exception.
On Friday Violet, one of my more advanced swimmers had a trial at Grantham Swimming Club. I was so impressed with what she did and in a pool twice the size to the one I teach in. She wasnt phased by it and got in the pool and absolutely smashed it in all 4 strokes!
Today we got the email offering her a place in the pre-squad. This is great news as they only h...ad 8 spaces available and there were a lot of children at the trial. ­¤śü
Well Done Violet, all your hard work has paid of and you should be very proud of yourself.

Wow what can I say Kyra is a fantastic and patient teacher, my girls confidence has really grown and they have a love for swimming. She is a real superstar... would highly recommend!!

We had our first lesson with Kyra on Sunday and from start to finish the lesson was thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Kyra worked around out little ones cues and ability and showed us key themes and messages, all whilst having fun! Thankyou Kyra we'll definitely be back next week and are looking forward to it already ’┐Įxxx

This is a little late, sorry Kyra. Matilda had her first lesson on Sunday and I am so glad we came. It was such a fantastic lesson. I didn't know what to expect and kyra totally put us at ease in the pool, which is great because I am a nervous person in front of people in these situations, so helped me be totally relaxed with my little girl in the water.

I would highly recommend Swimsmart With Kyra for your little ones. We are very much looking forward to returning this coming Sunday.

Our son started having 1-1 lessons with Kyra a month ago. His confidence has grown in such a short amount of time and it's a joy to watch him learn whilst having fun. Kyra is so patient, professional and fantastic at giving instructions to our 5 year old in a way he understands and also giving myself and husband tips to help him practise at home whilst having a bath. Our son absolutely loves his weekly swimming with Kyra and our daughter can't wait to start her lessons and join the fun in the next couple of weeks too. We highly recommend Kyra!!

Our son Antonio had his 1st lesson today after refusing to go in the swimming pool on holiday all week! What can I say Kyra is absolutely fantastic & is so patient & great with children. To start with Antonio still wouldn't go in but by the end of the 1st lesson Kyra had managed to encourage him into the pool & he even put his face into the water. Would absolutely recommend & we can't wait until next weeks lesson xx

Our first lesson was great, my son Jak had an amazing time and cannot wait to go again, very professional but very fun at the same time! :)

My little boy had his first lesson last week and loved it! Kyra was so good at keeping the toddlers engaged all the way through and changed the activities regularly. A fab experience and we are looking forward to this weeks lesson.

Kyra is so attentive and patient! Eli loved his first time in the pool and I can't wait to watch him develop his skills. Thank you so much for making it a wonderful and memorable experience!

Fantastic first lesson in the pool with Kyra today, my 6 year old didn't want to leave! Kyra is lovely, put my daughter at ease straight away and kept her fully engaged in a fun but informative way. After just one session Holly is Kyra's biggest fan and can't wait to jump back in the pool with her again next week! ’┐Į
