great to go to has its own away bar right near the away end stewards very helpful as a bolton wanderers fan apart from the walk from coach to ground we had to walk about a mile to get there apart from that everything OK
Went to the game vs Millwall in hospitality in the Robbins suite with some work colleagues. Whole experience was great Inc food, Company on our table, seats in the ground and a good match a good result.
Will definitely be looking to do it again
Welcome back Michael from everyone associated with S.T.F.C.
To be fair they were lucky to get a point out of the game let's hope they can get enough points with the games that are left to keep them up.
My son was the away team mascot for yesterday's match and we were so well looked after by the hospitality team big thank you to George and Brenda Chadwick for all your help- just a shame about the result!!
I was brought up in swindon and. Loved swindon Town I've bin up in the north east from being 15 but. Aye still follow swindon Town Al through I'm a Newcastle fan now but still love my route xxx
I captained an MK Dons team in an exhibition walking football match halftime yesterday , the hospitality of the club was excellent, had our own seating area with a good view of the action. Was brilliant to get a standing ovation from both sets of supporters. Pitch was a bit tricky but was great to score in front of approximately 8'000 football fans. Thank you
Hello my name is Rashad, left back is my position,am strong on the ball and good in are ball areas, wish to join the Swindon Town team to be one of the best left back in the world, wish to hear for you, thank you
Great day out for means the hubster. Took advantage of the new year offer on hospitality and for Β£59 each it was a good deal. 3 course lunch in the John Trollope Suite including a welcome drink and programme. Food was excellent and great company on our table. Football was a bit dodgy in places but a 1-1 draw was ok. To make my hubbys day he met his childhood idol Don Rogers and John Trollope. Oh and I won the quiz.
It's a really well orchestrated and fun day out. Phil King keeps everyone happy and there's always plenty of banter and atmosphere.
The performance against Charlton was very hard-fought with some excellent football at times. More worthy of the high admission price' if they play like that,.
Not a bad place to go would get wet on a rainy day as it is a long walk to the ground friendly enough
It was good we didn't get turned over like we did last year, the only thing that wasn't that good but the club can't do much about was the sun in the first half you couldn't see anything up the home end. But to come away with a points was a good result for Southend.
The ground as seen better days and the away stand facilities are very basic , a !ot t of queuing for both food and toilets and why do the doors to the stands open inwards ? , stewards and police were out in force for us but it was light hearted banter.
Let's hope it's going to be worth it, if I and my two friends are making the effort on a Tuesday evening and paying Β£10 each of our hard earn wage. Then let's see the same from Swindon Town (effort and passion) please.
Hi, A blade here, I really enjoyed my visit to the county ground last night, I found Swindon's defence and goal keeper very charitable, also found the Swindon fans in great voice all four of them, thanks for the lovely 3 points, I wasn't even too upset about been stuck behind some M&S lorry for 20 miles on some dodgy B road. Lots of love one happy blade ββ½οΈ
First league game in 4 years due to living in Spain. Sat in my old season ticket seat with long term friends. Can see why we're struggling to attract decent crowds due to what's going on on the pitch, needs a brave strong leader to sort that out!!! Still a win is a win!!
Yet another defeat to local rivals yesterday with us facing Oxford, the first half was excellent but unfortunately the game is for 90 minutes. Our players just don't seem to have the fitness levels required to put a full shift in. When subs were made it was like for like with no change to tactics or style of play. Too many loan players to build a stable team, I have supported the team for many years but really feel we are on the verge of sinking, I think it will be division 2 football next year, I hope I am proved wrong. I feel sorry for the likes of Nathan Thompson whose heart and soul is in the club, maybe some more local players needed who would wear the shirt with pride and commitment
They employ a known child killer
The away end is out dated, the best thing would be to bulldoze the ground down. Stewards are worse than useless. The best thing about my visit was going round the magic roundabout
