Swingdance Cumbria

Learn to dance to the swinging jazz tunes of the 1920s- 1940s. No partner or experience needed. Just a sense of humour and smooth soled shoes. All ages welcome. No need to book- just turn up.
7pm Level 1 Lindy Hop (For complete beginners and those wanting to develop the basic skills) 7.45pm Social dancing 8.15pm Level 2 Charleston (To join this class you need to have attended Level 1 Charleston)... 9pm Level 3 Lindy Hop (For experienced dancers who want a challenge!)
1 class £5 2 classes £7 (e.g. Level 1 and 2 or 2 and 3) 10 class pass £60 (Entry to the whole evening- flexible and no need to remember cash)

A relaxed Sunday afternoon workshop to learn the basics of Lindy Hop- a fun vintage partner dance to the fantastic jazz sounds of the 1920s-40s.
We will learn 6 and 8 count footwork rhythms, simple lead and follow technique and some easy moves to get you dancing in no time!

Hi dancers! We are making a Swing Dance T-shirt order in the next few days. They are black T-shirts with a white embroidered logo on the front and a coloured print logo on the back.
