Swinton Bivouac will also be open, situated just 3 miles away it creates a wonderful setting for an outdoor woodland wedding (please note, Swinton Bivouac will not be set for a wedding).
Swinton Park is a luxury Grade II castle set in 200 acres of beautiful parkland grounds at the Swinton Estate. Owned by the Cunliffe-Lister family since the 1880s, and the ancestral seat of the Earl of Swinton, you and your guests will enjoy a traditional, yet informal stately home wedding experience.

Yesterday we did the Webber BBQ course for a friends 50th birthday gift, absolutely fantastic...nothing more to say apart from if you think you know how to BBQ fairly decent, you really have no idea what is achievable so easily from some well presented training by a great chef!!! Grazing through the food you helped cook was great too.

Where do we start? After a long search for a wedding venue in the UK and were nearly about to give it all up, we finally found one - Swinton Park - the most amazing, beautiful and perfect venue for our wedding weekend.



First of all, the castle is absolutely stunning and is surrounded by beautiful lush nature and wild deer like it came straight out of a fairytale. Everything in the interior is just as gorgeous, the dining room, hallway, drawing room, library, etc., and the accommodation rooms are so unique, luxurious, spacious and well kept. The brand new country club and spa just adds to it all.



We could write for ages about how amazing Swinton Park is...



However, our wedding day wouldn’t have been so perfect if it wasn’t for their amazing staff - every single person was so professional, helpful, warm and welcoming, and did absolutely everything to make sure everything was perfect. A special thank you goes to the wonderful events team: Lauren, Molly, Chris, James, and the rest of the team at Swinton Park.



We got all the help we needed to plan our wedding from start to finish and everything turned out even better than we could have ever imagined! Everyone at Swinton Park made our day so magical and we left with so much joy and happy memories.



We really can’t find any negatives. The food, the service, the rooms, the atmosphere, the spa, the outdoor surroundings, EVERYTHING was PERFECT. We cannot wait to be back to celebrate many anniversaries at Swinton Park in the future :)

We visited 7 years ago and promised ourselves we would come back one day. We must say it was another enjoyable stay. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, Swinton Park is a fabulous building, such character, the bedrooms are lovely. We ate dinner in the Samuel Restaurant and was not disappointed, the service and food was excellent. An added bonus is the new spa facilities and Terrace Restaurant, a cocktail is a must. The grounds for a long walk especially after breakfast is a bonus.We so enjoyed our stay again at Swinton Park.

The friendlyness and humour of the staff make you feel so welcome and make you want to visit again , thankyou.

The whole stay was gorgeous. The food and wine were superb and the staff excellent. They went the extra mile to assist us and the waiter at our evening meal showed excellent knowledge of the food and wine he was serving. The whole stay was a wonderful experience.

The spa is a taste if pure luxury. Beautifully designed and never knew it was possible to enjoy so many saunas! The food was delicious. Perfect for healthy eating. The treatment was amazing. Staff friendly and service great. Can highly recommend.

Our stay at Swinton Estate surpassed my expectations. It is truly stunning, fabulous grounds, wonderful accommodation, top notch spa and the food was absolutely excellent. The staff were attentive and welcoming. I had a wonderful birthday with my family and I cannot wait to return. I would highly recommend and it definitely deserves a 5 star review.

My wife and I stayed at the Swinton Estate this weekend for our first wedding anniversary. I chose Swinton after comparing a few different spa hotels online and we were disappointed.



We enjoyed the brand new spa facilities on the Friday and Saturday including a massage, the gym and the pool with the various thermal treatments and pools.



We had an evening meal on the Friday - the food was brilliant and the wine choice excellent.



The staff were extremely attentive from the moment we arrived, not in your face but there to help, talk and offer advice when needed.



I would highly recommend the Swinton Estate and Spa for a day visit or stay.

I had such a lovely time celebrating my birthday with my friends and family here. I can thoroughly recommend the spa for pure bliss and relaxation.

Amazing place. We had the tasting menu and wine pairing in Samuels which was fantastic. The spa is so lovely. I had a facial which was so relaxing my husband made use of the pool and spa area. Rooms are amazing and the total overall feel of the place leaves you so chilled out. Definitely will be returning and would highly recommend. A lovely short break to get us all relaxed ready for Christmas

The tasting menu in the evening with the wine was out of this world, although I don’t remember dessert after the pink proseco course hehehhe

Excellent surprise stay for two nights last week... lovely place and surroundings. Food was so nice and of such a high standard. The spa facilities were exceptional however the only thing that let the place down was the standard of the rooms.... stains on the carpets and probably a lick of paint would do the room so much more justice but overall amazing x thank you x

Amazing facilities and construction. Just a few things weren’t upto scratch, air spa not working and no conditioner / moisturiser in showers, seemed to be a lack of soa staff only two on duty, but several in treatment side. But apart from those minor things we’ll definitely be going back I’m sure.

A totally amazing stunning place! Almost everything was perfect hence a star missing!! Check in wasn’t as smooth as expected but the checkout receptionist really does need to have some customer service training as not friendly in the slightest and Moaning she was run off of her feet when we were the only two checking out!? We asked to look at the suites before we left to be told various excuses by the same woman who couldn’t have cared less if you wanted to book the whole hotel or not!! She just clearly wanted you out!!! But on the other hand the most loveliest head housekeeper showed us around and had the most amazing special friendly manner and nothing was too much trouble for her so 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for her!! Maybe a role reversal I think??!! On the whole though stunning!!!!

Booked a spa day for our 1st year wedding anniversary at £250. Entitled us to choose a treatment each in a couples spa room. We didn't get to choose our treatment and we weren't in a couples room!! I questioned this when we got there and she basically said what we were having! 2 course lunch was included where we got a gin & tonic and a glass of wine. We weren't told drinks weren't included and when we left at the end of the day nothing was said. 8pm that night they rang us up for payment for the drinks. Said we weren't paying and the lady said someone would call us back. Waited a couple of days And rang back. Again she said someone would call me back. Took me 3 times to speak to a manager regarding this issue. After spending £250 I would have expected a drink each to be included at lunch or at least the heads up they weren't!!
