We just had our wedding here 11.11.17 and the venue looked amazing!! Lindsay and Hannah couldnt of done anymore for us they are both so lovely and professional. Food was lovely, dj was fab! Bar staff were chatting to all our guests all round 10/10 from the new mr & mrs Wroe

We had our wedding here on Saturday And it was perfect and cannot thank everyone enough for a amazing day/night , massive thank you to Lindsay, who went out of her way to make sure we were happy with every little detail, we cannot thank her enough for giving us the perfect day. Thank you to Hannah for coming and helping me get out of the wedding car with a umbrella so I didn’t get wet, thank you to Dave the Dj for making sure everyone was having a good time dancing the night away, Also massive thank you to all the waiting staff, bar staff and a massive thank you to the chef! The Wedding breakfast and buffet was amazing xxx

Thankyou so much Hannah and Lindsay for doing a fantastic job hosting our wedding, Lindsay you was amazing on the day, even with my on the day table plan change, the golf club looks amazing and everyone of my guests mentioned how lovely the food was, we had 95 guests and everyone's food was severed hot and quickly, All timing was perfect and the dj was brilliant, he had everyone dancing, I would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone, thankyou again for our perfect wedding day

Your staff are pleasant and helpful. The room looked stunning I can't thank you enough for making my daughter Holly and her wife's Danas day. The food was lovely. The fish/ chicken/tempura veg and chips in cones we had on arrival were just the thing with our Proseco. The hot and cold buffet fabulous. PS. Recently we had our wedding reception at Swinton Park Golf Club. Hannah and the team shown fantastic professionalism throughout the day. Hannah worked with us for months to organise the smooth running of our wedding meal and evening reception ( and it went to plan). Hannah stayed till the evening to ensure our day went perfect. The food was amazing and fantastic service from the team. I would highly recommend anyone to use this venue in the future. Thanks Hannah so much. Nichola & Russell x

Our golf society played here Sunday 20th May. We were made to feel very welcome and the course was in great condition. The weather helped though! Plus we had a drinks voucher each which was a bonus. Excellent value, we will look to return next year.

Open to public, great for a quiet social drink or a quick bite to eat. Quiz night Monday if you want to test that grey matter and brilliant for watching the Football to. Oh and if you really want to you can play golf too!

Had works Christmas Do at the Olly Murs Christmas party night. The food was fantastic, hot and tasted great! The bar and waiting staff were very friendly and professional. Olly was very good and full of energy! We all had a really good night and looking forward to coming back!

Came to the Carvery this afternoon with family, staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was perfect. Choice of 3 meats with all the trimmings fresh, hot and delicious well worth £8.50 even squeezed in one of a selection of homemade desserts for an extra £3. We will be coming again!

Came in today with my husband for the carvery lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the meats were all cooked to perfection, melted in the mouth, as was all the vegetables and potatoes. We will definately be calling in again very soon. �

Attended the Singles night last night (Wednesday) we had a brilliant time, lovely venue, nice food, good DJ and the staff were very courteous. We are a bunch of people from the old Rendesvous and we have been waiting to find a decent place to get together have a dance, a laugh and to meet people and we have found it. So thank you. Played yesterday 1st time there very nice course- greens need both water & work doing on them, but bearing in mind the winter we have had followed by this latest dry spell it’s understandable.

Will definitely go back again

I only had Salmon , (no veg, no potatoes ) which was very nice.... but having read other reviews I did hear similar comments, I did not have roasted pots , but they did look over cooked, but that's another story, some people do like them like that!

Great layout and in good condition, not much room for error with lots of trees / hazards / bunkers to await wayward shots. Hit is straight and you should score well. Greens a bit slow and would be a better course if the greens were quicker. Some very long holes and driver required on most par 4's and 5's if you want to hit the greens in regulation.

Cracking parkland course that is recovering well from the wettest winter since dinosaurs lived in Manchester. As expected on a parkland course, avoiding the trees is highly recommended:-(. A good test at a very reasonable price. Bar food, beer and service was also better than some more prestigious clubs. Looking forward to visiting again.

After a very hot and long bike ride with the family, 2 adults, 2 kids, 7&5, we stopped for a couple of drinks here and was blown away by the lovely outdoor terrace over looking the golf course. However during our visit, approx 1.5hrs both my children and another couples children were shouted at 3 times by 2 members of staff for leaving the terrace to play on the grass. Admittedly the first time they was stood chatting on part of the golf course although you wouldn't have know unless a golf expert that this was even part of the green. The 2nd and 3rd time they we told to come off the grass (not part of the course) and stay on the terrace. The terrace was busy and very small. I would like to suggest if you are welcoming non members to the club and families then you should make appropriate space and facilities for such custom. The staff were ok but not chatty or welcoming to new members and on each occasion at the bar members were served as priority over the public. My husband was mid-way being served at the bar and staff stopped his drink to run over to a members table with ice as she was unable to enjoy her drink without. I would not rule out another visit but certainly would think twice before taking my children again as clearly kids are not welcome.
