I was talking to someone today who is a self confessed Grinch when it comes to Christmas. It’s not that she hates Christmas but hasn’t been keen on it for a while. This year though she has enjoyed some of Christmassy things, going to a Christmas Fayre, drinking mulled wine and listening to carols.
It got me thinking that people feel that just because they don’t jump into Christmas with both feet and “do” Christmas the way that the adverts tell them they should, they are Grin...ches or Scrooges.
It isn’t so. Stop now! Just think of one thing you like or used to like about Christmas, the carols, the lights, the colours, the drinks, the food, the get togethers, and enjoy that one thing and then maybe you can think of another thing. Stop pressuring yourself or letting others push you into things.

A little bit about me but more importantly, how I can help you.
I have been organising people since I was very little, although in those days it was called being “bossy”, my nickname in the family was actually “bossy boots”. My family and then friends did agree though that if they did what I suggested then – things got better! I moved on from being “bossy” and organised people in the organisation (British Rail) where I started working at 16 and was soon asked to organise depa...rtments, systems and processes.
Since then I have managed but more importantly organised companies, businesses and the people within them. Making them more efficient, streamlined and effective, but also, happier, more satisfied, lighter and stronger.
I am sometimes still a bit bossy but also listen and learn what the business owners I work with need and how they need guiding through it. I do not tell people what to do when but advise them of different options they can take to make their lives better and keep them accountable to take the action to achieve it.
