Following the Short inspection of Sybourn Primary School on 21 May 2019, we are delighted that we can confirm the school continues to be a 'good' school. I am sure you will join us in congratulating the school on such a great inspection report!

Ofsted The inspection went very well and it was a very positive day for the school. We will of course update you once we receive the report back from Ofsted and look forward to sharing this with you. We like to thank all of you that completed the online survey for Ofsted, the feedback from parents was overwhelmingly positive, and showed just how happy parents are with the continued hard work we are doing here at Sybourn.
Polling Day @ Perth Road Please remember that our Early Years site on Perth Road will be closed on Thursday 23 May 2019 as the building is being used to support the European elections.
Years 1 to 6 will remain open as usual on Sybourn Street.

Year 3 @ Science Museum This week year 3 visited the Science Museum. The children had a fantastic time participating in a range of activities which allowed them to explore the use of forces and magnets. A special thank you to our parents/ volunteers for supporting school trips, they are not possible without you!!

With only five weeks until half term, we're pleased to announce that 'Holiday Club' will be launching on Tuesday 28 May - Friday 31 May 2019. Half and Full day sessions are available, please contact the school office to book your child's place.
Foundation Showcase @ Sybourn It was fantastic to see so many parents yesterday coming in to the school and enjoy sharing their children’s successes in the classroom. Parents had the opportunity to look at the work the children had been doing throughout the Spring term in the foundation subjects. The children thoroughly enjoyed sharing their learning and showing their parents the work they had completed.

School Dates - End of term Please note that school does not finish until Friday 5 April 2019, 2.15pm at EYFS and 2.30pm at KS1&2. Children are expected to be in school until that day. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that school opens again on Tuesday 23 April 2019.
Early Years Foundation Stage Children in the Early Years have been having a fantastic time this week exploring their outdoor learning environment, and making use of lots of new, interesting and fun resources that have been added to the outdoor provision. We are constantly investing in new resources to support the children with their learning and will keep you updated on the developments as they happen.
