Always a happy greeting as you enter this great village coffee shop, can't fault service and food on any day and Sunday lunch is as it should be.

The staff are friendly providing a quick service and the food is lovely

We arrived just after 3pm and were disappointed to see that the cafe had already shut (it is advertised as being open until 3.30) as we had really fancied some cake. We actually heard somebody round the side of the building and it turned out to be Sylv (who was cleaning the friers and apologised for her cleaning attire, no need Sylv!) and she insisted on re-opening just for us and switching on all the machines again. We had the Dime bar cake, the chocolate gateau and the lemon cheesecake and we each thought that they were the yummiest cake in town - each was served with a little pot of pouring cream. The tea and coffee were also very good - the coffee was served with one of those yummy little biscuits. Sylv was absolutely lovely and was very sweet with our young children. What had looked to be a disappointing afternoon turned out to be absolutely wonderful and we were very grateful to Sylv for being so accommodating. We will definitely be back (to try the strawberry eton mess cake) and would recommend this lovely place to anybody.

Nice local friendly cafe

Food was nice. Staff were helpful. Found the price of drinks bumped up an otherwise pretty cheap Sunday lunch for two.

A great place to eat or just drop by for a coffee. Don't miss a Friday if you like Fish and chips, they are great.

Lovely atmosphere, great surroundings, fantastic food. Only called in for a coffee - ended up having two, plus food. Staff are brilliant, would highly recommend to any one in the area.

A very friendly place for coffee & cake plus the main meals are great. Sunday lunch is a special treat plus Sylve & the staff are very welcoming & a good source for local information.
