T & J Motel

Good place to stay. We were walking from Battle and had a good rest in the motel. They have comfortable mattresses (not too soft), big rooms and beautiful bathrooms. Although we hadn't pre-order breakfast they found something for us.

Comfortable, basic accommodation with small fridge, microwave oven and kitchenette. Some noise from the fast main road meant it would have been too loud to have the window open. Shame about inconsiderate guests stomping around upstairs and talking loudly at half past midnight on a Sunday morning.

Very clean and everything you need provided.

Good location right on the A21 and a friendly welcome at reception. Room was basic but exceptionally clean, as was the bathroom (actually a shower room, no bath). Tea and coffee making facilities in room as well as a microwave oven and a sink for washing up if required.

If using as a stop over for an event at the Bedgebury Pinetum would advise you check out the mile-long cross-country walk first before committing to it - the cow field could present a problem when returning late at night!

Immaculate! The place is spotless! Even communal areas. Our room was well stocked with a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The bathroom was well stocked with white fluffy towels and toiletries. The beds were comfy, the linen was immaculate. The sraff we met were knowledgeable about the area. Very happy with our stay.
We'd recommend T& J Motel to everyone.

We camp here a couple of times a year. If you are looking for back to basics, traditional camping then this is the place for you. Unpretentious and reasonably priced. My main bugbear is the same as in many of the reviews....the shower/washing facilities are terrible. I have two young children as there's only one shower available for men it's a nightmare for me to be able to sort us all out. A real shame as I love the meadow.

very good quality on a motel level, nice place, quiet, clean, well maintaned, I can highly recommend for short stays.

Really good campsite for a wild camper the staff are really friendly they do have toilets and showers but are the oldest dull looking facilities I have seen yet you don't feel quite clean after you shower but if they had a modern toilet block I would consider this as 5 star im giving it only 3 in hope that the owners pick up on it and make this site a 5 star site

I have strayed at this motel on 2 occasions and both times I have found this Motel to be of great value. The staff are well manored and very helpful. Keep up the good work
