'Horsa' - W&P Collection Staghound back in the workshops for some love.
Interesting document listing the equipment used in an armoured car regiment. From pyjamas to armoured cars.
Another one to add to the list of survivors.....
Interesting color movie showing the liberation celebrations held in Amsterdam on June 26-27-28 1945. On June 28th a big parade was organized. Among the participating regiments were the Royal Canadian Dragoons with 28 Staghounds and the Manitoba Dragoons with 72 Staghounds. The total 100 Staghounds must have been an impressive sight and sound! The parade starts around the 7.40 time mark with the infantry and the armored column starts at 9.25. At the 10.00 mark, Staghound H2 f...rom D-squadron's Heavy Troop passes the camera. The driver from this car is doing well at 95 years of age now!
