Tabby Teas presents; Cat Yoga! Local yoga teacher, cat fanatic, lover of Olaf and all round mad-hatter tea drinker, yogi “Ferret” of Quirky Ferret Yoga (www.quirkyferret.com) is coming to Tabby Teas café armed with yoga mats, oodles of yoga knowledge, a big smile and an even bigger heart.
... If you LOVE cats as much as we do and Ferret does… maybe you’d love to do a yoga class amongst the Tabby Teas kitties!
The events are from 10am until 11.30am, the yoga class runs for 60 mins and then there is 30 mins of cat cuddles and FREE tea to finish off the class. So after you’ve stretched out on your yoga mat; you don’t have to rush off… you can enjoy a cup of tea on us and have some kitty cat cuddles till we re-open to the public at 11.30am.

How do you book? Glad you asked - you just go to the Tabby Teas website, click booking and then select the 'events' option. Here is a link; https://www.tabbyteas.co.uk/events
How often are classes? Classes are currently being run every fortnight on Wednesday mornings.
Will there be evening classes (I work in the day)… Watch this space, we are trying to work on the permission to open the café for longer hours in order to run evening classes. Currently we close at 6pm. If you would be interested in regular evening classes please send us an email to let us know.
Do you need your own yoga mat? Nope, we provide them. You’re very welcome to bring your own mat if you have one and like to use it. It can be useful to have extra padding on the floor of the café.
Do you need any fancy equipment? Nope. It is a gentle mix of Hatha and Vinyasa flow yoga, we take it easy as we can’t go throwing ourselves around… we might fall on Olaf!
Do you need to be flexible / experienced to join in with cat yoga? Not at all, you can be a complete yoga beginner. The class is designed for beginners and with options for improvers. All are welcome. If you wanted you could even show up, sit comfy on your yoga mat and watch everything unfold around you. At the end of the day it is YOUR class.
Do you need to like cats? Yes. Haha!
Will a cat come and sit on me during yoga? Maybe… tee hee!
