With a doubt selling the best bait in the area and probably the best stocked tackle shop in the county for the match angler.

The tackle shop is owned and managed by Alex Bates who has a vast knowledge of all sorts of fishing, and fishing tackle plus the tackle shop is situated on a brilliant well managed lake complex.

Not so much a fishing tackle shop review but a review of the owners kindness. Turned up to buy a few bits of tackle, got a puncture on the way to the shop/cafe. After struggling to get the wheel off (with assistance from Alex the tackle shop manager and the visiting Browning rep) my ten month old baby who was in the car had become tired and hungry. The owner organised for local tyre fitters to come and sort out the tyre and fed my baby mashed banana! Great old fashioned customer service and friendliness. Thank you so much once again!

Much more personable then generic big tackle warehouses, probably cheaper too.
