Only took us a million years but we finally have a sign ! And look how GORGEOUS it is.

Well chuffed that the Munchies crew loved our nachos so much they asked for the recipe and wrote up the TQ backstory to go along with it...

As it’s essentially Friday today, here’s the 411 on this weekend’s TQ plans: we’ll be open our usual hours Easter Friday + Saturday doing weekend lunch both days inc cockys + nachos, and CLOSED on Sunday. Bring on the #bonkholslols

TQ is looking for a part-time bartender / waiter to join the gang.

Taco Queen will be closing over Christmas from 23rd December until Jan 5th when we will reopen having reacquainted ourselves with our sofas and beds. It’s been a glorious 4 months at 191 - looking forward to returning invigorated and ready for 2018. Big kisses to the lot of youz! Love, Taco Queen xxx

Just sinking the BRAND NEW Pink Drink while perusing @deethechef ‘s menu for tomorrow night. Get down from 6 for Thai delights + a go on Henry’s latest cocktail masterpiece: a divine concoction of hibiscus, ginger liqueur, mezcal, lime & orange. Subleeeeeeeeem.

Eyo, Facebook has told me to update you all:
1) lots of people have been flipping out over the new sietan fried chicken taco, even the big meat eaters
2) we have a new 'sloppy arepa' hitting the menu this week. It's what Ryan has been making for himself for lunch and like the idiot he is did not think to share it with the customers
... 3) Henry's got a new cocktail, it's got Thai basil in it and is super refreshing

Mornin y'all here's wassup today: it's been a crazy busy week so we have limited stock left for lunch. We're going to run out of tortillas early so get down and get in ASAP to guarantee a fishy time. Arepas, Wings & Fries about but as above all is limited. Open for the lunch challenge 12 til we run out xxx

Know it hasn't been much of a secret but BIG BLOODY NEWS : we're opening a permanent Taco Queen on Rye Lane next week! Know we've been a bit hazy about the date but we're working on it aka it'll defs be open by next weekend! See all you fruity fishees for BONK HOLS LOLS xxx

Without a doubt the best tacos in London. Probably the best tacos I've had since moving away from the taquerias in Texas and Mexico. I had the steak, Baja fish, and crispy avocado tacos. All three were 10/10. The value is incredible as well!

Visited for lunch yesterday after a recommendation from a friend. I had the steak taco with chimichurri, which was delicious. I could have feasted on the sauce alone with some tortilla chips it was so yummy!! Lovely, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. What more could you ask for? Will definitely be returning. Possibly in the evening so I can sample the cocktails!

Shame they keep that hunky fella locked away at the back but other than that this place is the donkey's bollocks x

New favourite spot in Peckham! New place on Rye Lane looks great

Last night's opening at the new permanent venue 191 Rye Lane was sensational. Great space, great vibe, all the hits plus some new taco flavours and to crown it all they have dessert now - a fabulous ice cream sandwich!

I think about these nachos all the time.

I don't usually review stuff but this place was so good I can't help but tell everyone how deserving it is of 5 stars

Lots of great veggie vegan options. Super chilled. Helpful staff. Nice one

Although i'm a personal fan of TQ's more raw, vivacious earlier work, one could argue the later repertoire were both more nuanced and indicative of the artists true intentions.
