As you will know, we are currently searching for the Year 11 class of the film and are looking for young people aged 16 and above (who can look 16 on camera) to cast in both major and minor roles. The film will be set and filmed on location in Sheffield, and we would really love to cast young people from the local community where possible.
We are looking to engage with local community groups, young peoples and their leaders to let them know about the cas...ting and how they can get involved and to help us spread the message to others. No previous experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a curiosity to try something new.
We are really keen to meet as broad a spectrum of young people as possible and reach beyond performing arts students, so it would be brilliant to come in and meet the young people you work with to see whether this might be something that is of interest to them. Both Shaheen and Warp have a long history of casting unknown actors. You can check out their respective websites here:
